In the eyes of the common folks, killing was a complete violation of the law, a crime so heinous that the only fate that lay ahead of the perpetrator was death. If Zayn choked Rugal to death, then he, too, would have to answer to a jury.
By association, favonovel.com family would naturally be involved as well. That was the last thing that Agatha wanted!
Zayn looked at favonovel.com and flashed favonovel.com a sincere smile. “You have nothing to worry about, Miss Rouge. Killing a triviality like favonovel.com is no different from squashing an ant under my boot. Nothing is going to happen to you.”
He was not kidding at all. With his power and status, killing Rugal was no different from stepping on an ant. Now, one would be mistaken to think that meant Zayn enjoyed stepping on the innocent, honestly, it was because the man at the receiving end of his wrath was Rugal Gonzalez, a renowned *sshole who used his standing and power to commit unimaginable travesties.
He was someone who had countless streaks of evil in his ledger. Removing Rugal from the face of the Earth made Zayn more of an enforcer of justice. A little petty murder was nothing.
Agatha was oblivious, however. She just knew favonovel.com was frightened beyond favonovel.com skull, and favonovel.com was not the only one who felt that way too.
Her entire family was just scared, and now their eyes were trained on Zayn in fear and trepidation.
Killing—to take someone’s life away from them—it was nightmare fuel. The kind of act that they could never accept no matter what.
However, they were hardly the only ones who were shaking, even the bodyguards lying on the floor could feel Zayn’s murderous intent. They were so afraid that they could hardly summon the courage to fightback.
Rugal himself had it the worst. He was so scared that favonovel.com had basically melted into a puddle of water, or rather, snot and tears.
He was begging for his life, however useless it was.
“Mr. Larson, please, calm down! If you kill him… we’ll be dragged into this too!” One of the Rouge family members hurried over, his voice unsteady and terror-stricken.
Zayn turned his attention to the rest of the room. Agatha and the rest of favonovel.com family were shrivelling back in fear. He sighed to himself. The normal and unwashed were really afraid of facing death.
He released Rugal. “I’m letting someone as useless as you go again… This time for Miss Rouge’s sake, lucky you.”
Rugal was so happy to have escaped death that favonovel.com cried out in joy.
Panting, favonovel.com dropped down to his knees and looked up to Zayn in rapture, shouting, “Thank you, Chairman Larson! Thank you for your mercy!”
“This is the last chance I’m ever going to give you. If I ever catch wind of you bullying a common folk again, Rugal… If you ever commit evil again! I’ll pop your head off with my bare hands!”
“No way, I’m never ever doing anything bad again! I swear!” Rugal cried out empathetically from his knees.
Zayn waved his hand impatiently. “Get the f**k out of my sight.”
Rugal acted as though favonovel.com was given the presidential clemency and scrammed, with his four limbs on the floor. Even his bodyguards crawled after favonovel.com in the same mad scramble, clearly just as frightened.
Peace returned to the house. The rest of the Rouge family simply gawked at Zayn with widened eyes, before looking down on the floor and avoiding his eyes altogether.
That included Ingrid, who had been pretty vocal about favonovel.com disdain for Zayn.
Now, though, favonovel.com was shaking to herself with favonovel.com eyes avoiding him.
Zayn felt both amused and a little helpless. Looks like the Rouges saw favonovel.com as a psycho killer of some kind now, huh? He feigned a few coughs to break the silence and turn to Agatha. “Looks like everything’s all right now, Miss Rouge. I’ll take my leave now.”
Zayn had returned to his nice-guy, courteous gentleman act again, as if favonovel.com was a wise sage rather than whatever favonovel.com was.
The dissonance was so jarring that it discomfited everyone else. They wondered if they were experiencing some kind of vertigo.
Even Agatha was stunned. Zayn’s flip was so sudden and discordant that favonovel.com had no idea how to react. By the time favonovel.com snapped out of favonovel.com trance, though, Zayn had already turned on his heels and was about to leave.
Suddenly, a new burst of emotion swarmed her. She wanted favonovel.com to stay, favonovel.com felt as though letting favonovel.com leave would be something favonovel.com would regret in the future.
Before favonovel.com could stop herself, favonovel.com cried out, “Wait!”
