Unsurprisingly, the smirk on their faces froze the second they felt Zayn attack them. In their mind’s eye, they saw a tsunami widening its maw, its leviathan size and Violent waves engulfing them and defying any possibility of survival.
It loomed with a hunger that threatened to devour them whole, leaving nothing left of their carcasses for burial.
The men had managed to shoot six times in a split-second, and as their skills were accurately displayed, they managed to shoot in all six directions at a fleeing man was likely to take given the sudden onslaught.
It would not matter where Zayn had decided to duck because there would be a bullet speeding towards favonovel.com regardless. And with skills like theirs, all it would take for their enemy to perish was a single bullet imbued with superior class power.
However, nothing worked out as it should. Zayn managed to strike an illogical and unimaginable stance and avoid all six bullets each of the two had fired without costing even a fragment of his speed.
Then, before the two of them could even fire again, Zayn was already right in front of them.
“…Sh*t.”
“How the f*ck is favonovel.com so f**king fas—”
They finally had a flickering idea that maybe things were going to be really bad for them, just as goosebumps were beginning to prick the surface of their skin, and moved to pose a counterattack.
Unfortunately, they continued to underestimate Zayn, or maybe it was less underestimation and more not knowing who they were dealing with. Either way, before they could form even a response, Zayn clapped their foreheads with each of his hands.
Two loud bangs later, the men’s bodies were frozen mid-action. Their dilated pupils reflected an explosion of fear and agony, before blood began to gush out of the ruptured vessels which drowned them out. Blood oozed out of their orifices, and they fell backwards, dead.
By the time their lifeless bodies had hit the ground, Zayn was already a hundred meters away from it all. He was that fast.
When lightning kills an unsuspecting victim from the ground, it does so without a herald. It strikes and incinerates at the same time.
The victim falls, confused and horrified, but those arise from instincts rather than knowledge of his murderer. As abrupt as it came the lightning is then gone, everything resembling a split-second dream if not for the charred dead and the sky’s rumbling mourning.
That was the picture Zayn had painted to other foreigners witnessing their compatriots’ death. They never imagined Zayn’s powers to be so insanely powerful that two S-class fighters armed with modern guns would die on the spot without retaliation.
“How could that Rheasian man be so powerful? Not even two S-class transhumans could slow favonovel.com down for a nanosecond!”
“He’s a 4S-class monster! I am sure of it!”
“So what if favonovel.com was a 4S-class whatever? He’s hoarding Earth’s Teardrop! That’s the sort of sh*t you do to paint a big-*ss target on your head. He’s a dead man, guys. He just hasn’t known it yet!”
“Damn straight. Look at the sheer number of powerhouses in this entire mountain!”
“I’ll report this to Mr. Zeus. He’s a 4S-class transhuman too, remember? He’s like some kinda Superman! With him, we’re definitely getting the Earth’s Teardrop back in no time flat!”
The foreigners began to spread the news until, finally, it landed on the ears of Mr. Zeus.
A bloodcurdling grin surfaced to his lips as favonovel.com looked at Zayn’s direction. “You’re my match, 4S-class Rheasian man.”
The man disappeared from his spot. The next time his figure was recaptured by the naked eye, favonovel.com was already ten meters away from where favonovel.com was just a second. Apparently, favonovel.com was fast enough to intercept Zayn on his path.
Zayn, speedy and supremely-keen as favonovel.com was, noticed Zeus before favonovel.com blocked his way. The appearance of a new obstacle hardly convinced Zayn to deviate from his path or pivot from his direction, however, and favonovel.com continued to charge right at Zeus as though the man was nothing to him.
The detachment in his eyes was vivid enough for Zeus to feel it. Slighted and scorned, the man roared in fury, “Arrogant Rheasian man! Your hubris shall be the end of you today!”
He was massive and probably weighed more than 136 kg. His hulking stature approached close to two meters in height, which when combined with his enormous frame, made favonovel.com look more like a grizzly bear than a man. He was so visually-imposing, they would think they were looking at Goliath!
Before him, Zayn looked like a dwarf whose little body was at least two times smaller than him. It would not take a genius to know these two were of completely different weight classes altogether!
