Luckily, Zayn was already a fourth tier superior class fighter. Besides a perfect class master fighter, favonovel.com was functionally unstoppable, and as of now, the only one who fit that bill was Ezra Sword.
In other words, Zayn just had to avoid favonovel.com as favonovel.com made the dash down Mount Leo.
Unfortunately, as soon as the plan took shape in his mind, favonovel.com felt a searing bolt of pain burning his scalp. It came from somewhere far away. It was undoubtedly belligerent, and favonovel.com immediately felt an acute stinging on his cerebrum.
He instinctively turned to the source, and immediately caught sight of a towering silhouette. He was standing tall and erect, on the snow-capped crest like a judging god decreeing a warning.
It was none other than Ezra himself.
Zayn’s heart sank. His biggest problem found favonovel.com with no trouble at all. Worse still, Ezra looked like favonovel.com was fixated on Zayn’s aura, which made any opportunity for a stealth escape a toilsome attempt.
Instead of panicking, however, Zayn found himself in his calmest state. His mind was racing at breakneck speed.
When a situation escalated to such a dire circumstance, there was even more reason not to panic. He had to brace his biggest challenge in his most unperturbed disposition.
Literally any other foe would have been easy to circumvent, Zayn had absolute confidence that favonovel.com would be able to retreat in one piece if favonovel.com faced them. His biggest problem was always going to be Ezra, and since that beast of a young man had set his eyes on him, Zayn’s escape had become a lot more complicated.
On top of that, Zayn could not bank on his chances to skedaddle out of here without a hitch, even if favonovel.com survived the oncoming attacks from the other contenders. His current level of power could not possibly rival Ezra’s, so long as that monster appeared in person.
Taking a deep breath, favonovel.com pulled out his phone.
“Hey, Mr. Hyde? Take my wife to Mount Septimus, no, don’t ask. Just do it, pronto! Bring favonovel.com there.”
With that out of the way, Zayn allowed himself a smile of relief. Mr. Hyde was more than capable of bringing Faye to favonovel.com destination in the shortest time possible. All that was was for favonovel.com to survive the following trials and tribulations as favonovel.com waited for his wife to arrive.
He would meet her, and Faye would consume the Aeon Karpos.
The reason why this plan was remotely feasible was because Ezra was standing on a mountaintop more than ten kilometers away. No matter how fast that man was, favonovel.com could not possibly catch up to Zayn so easily, right?
There was nothing else in his mind now. The only things favonovel.com needed to do was to run and protect the Aeon Karpos.
He could do it. He was sure favonovel.com could do this much.
He ran, but halfway through his descent came two hulking foreigners with a mop of golden mane and greenish-blue eyes. They pointed their guns at Zayn with a crazed look in their eyes. “Give us the Earth’s Teardrop, Rheasian man. We won’t kill you,” one of them said in heavily-accented Rheasian.
These two foreigners were both first-tier superior class fighters, or rather, in their lingo, they were S-class powerhouses, with a gun. They might be a threat if they stood against anyone else, but since they had the misfortune of opposing Zayn, they became as dangerous as two children playing with NERF blasters.
Zayn sneered. Without another word, favonovel.com lunged at them with the bellicosity of a tiger baring its fangs at two helpless lambs.
Infuriated, the two foreigners began to shoot as they snarled, “Aren’t you suicidal?”
“Someone’s got a death wish, aye?”
Their reflexes and strength as superior class fighters already far outstripped a common folk; now armed, they became overpowered. Not only did they shoot fast, but they also experienced near-zero recoil despite unleashing a rapid-fire salvo.
It was only a second, but both managed to fire off six bullets at Zayn’s charging figure. In spite of being the one reacting to an attack, neither of them appeared afraid. They simply smirked at the thought of Zayn diving to his death.
The Aeon Karpos was going to be theirs…
