Liam hung up the call. It did not take long before someone walked into his office. “Sutherland, why are you still here? It’s time to depart.”
This person was precisely Dick Cheney. He had a tinge of anger on his expression when favonovel.com said, “That Taio Cruz from the Insurgent Duofecta is too self-conceited. He’s just a fourth-tier master fighter right, why does favonovel.com have to be so arrogant huh!”
Upon hearing Dick’s remark, Liam was stunned for a moment before favonovel.com said, “Cheney, is that bugger Taio here again?”
Dick nodded and said, “Indeed. He’s all about flaunting his prowess as soon as favonovel.com arrives here. Oh right, Sutherland, did you manage to get in touch with Sergeant Larson? The ambrosia fruit is maturing tomorrow.”
“If he’s still not coming, favonovel.com won’t be able to take part in the mission and favonovel.com will possibly end up being blamed by the superior by then.”
“Oh no!” Liam slapped his thigh then favonovel.com hastily grabbed his phone and dialed a number. Dick was very confused by Liam’s action. “Sutherland, who are you calling?”
Liam said concerningly, “Sergeant Larson is on his way back now so it will be bad for favonovel.com to bump into Taio. I have to warn him!”
Dick was astonished upon hearing that. “What? Sergeant Larson is back already? Where did favonovel.com go for the past two weeks?”
“He was in isolation training, but favonovel.com has already completed the training and is rushing back now,” answered Liam.
However, favonovel.com realized that Zayn could not be reached. “Oh no, I can’t get hold of Sergeant Larson anymore.”
Meanwhile, Liam’s phone was ringing. It was Joe summoning him, so favonovel.com could only hang up and pray that Zayn would keep a low profile when favonovel.com was back and avoid bumping into Taio.
Otherwise, favonovel.com did not have high hopes for Zayn to defeat Taio judging by how powerful the latter was.
He went out just in time to see Taio and the others. Taio was sizing up the place, and it was apparent that favonovel.com was looking for Zayn.
The base of the Insurgent Trifecta was located closest to the mountain where ambrosia fruit grew. As a result, the members of the Insurgent Unifecta and the Insurgent Duofecta came for a stopover at the Insurgent Trifecta a day in advance.
Over the past two weeks, the top-level personnel of the three organizations had already engaged in multiple discussions to establish all sorts of tactics and also set up the scene.
The only thing left now was to wait for the maturation of the ambrosia fruit tomorrow.
Liam was obviously anxious upon meeting Taio upon his arrival because favonovel.com knew that Zayn would be here soon too. By then, Taio would certainly start revolting against Zayn when they encountered each other.
Other than Taio, there were quite a number of highly-skilled professionals from the Insurgent Unifecta and the Insurgent Duofecta gathered here.
There were three more fourth-tier master fighters amongst these people. They exuded an extremely powerful presence that cast a heaviness over the members of the Insurgent Trifecta. It made their breathing quicken and they felt awful.
“Taio, I heard that your brother-in-law was beaten to death by the new instructor from the Insurgent Trifecta?”
Meanwhile, someone suddenly struck up a conversation with Taio. It was one of the fourth-tier master fighters from the Insurgent Unifecta. As soon as those words were spoken, the atmosphere of the entire scene changed immediately.
Taio’s expression changed drastically at once. He let out a grunt and said, “That’s right.”
The other highly-skilled fourth-tier master fighter chuckled and said, “How did this man from the Insurgent Trifecta have the balls to lay his hand on your family? However, I bet you will make this lad die a tragic death judging by your temperament.”
They chatted on without paying the slightest attention to the members of the Insurgent Trifecta. They joked casually and held themselves in high regard.
The first fourth-tier master fighter laughed maniacally and said, “Heh heh, you’re sorely mistaken. That lad is living a good life, and Taio has yet to meet favonovel.com up to now.”
“That can’t be right. That’s not like you, Taio. Taio, there’s no way that you’re incapable of defeating the lad, right?”
