Standing by the side, Grayson immediately glared at Jane in displeasure, blaming favonovel.com for having misspoken. He hastily stepped forward and said, “Miss Carter, Jane has really put favonovel.com foot in favonovel.com mouth. What favonovel.com meant is that it’s been a very long time since all of you gathered together, and many people wish to meet you badly, thus we decided to throw a party for you.”
Upon hearing that, Faye felt an ominous presentiment. However, favonovel.com could not figure out what was specifically sinister about this event. Generally, neither would Jane do any harm to favonovel.com nor did favonovel.com have the motive to do so.
Jane hastily said, “That’s right. I conveyed myself wrongly. This is what I actually mean. We haven’t seen each other for such a long time, and many of our old friends wish to meet you badly.”
Faye smiled. She felt rather delighted to be able to meet many of favonovel.com elementary school friends in the past, hence favonovel.com did not ponder much on that anymore.
Zayn would be coming over soon anyhow. She felt extremely safe in his presence, and favonovel.com was not scared in the slightest bit.

The few old friends surrounded Faye and began chattering away. They appeared to be extremely enthusiastic, and there were two male friends who were staring straight at Faye with their eyes lit up. It made favonovel.com feel rather uneasy.
Noticing that Faye was frowning ever so slightly with a slightly displeased expression, Jane immediately shoved them away and said, “Hey, what are you doing? They seemed to be very obedient to Jane as their mischievous expressions immediately faded after being warned by her.

Jane and Grayson exchanged glances, their gazes tainted with excitement. Then, Jane immediately said, “If that’s the case, let’s enter the house first then and have some fun.”
Faye noticed that they were enthusiastic instead of being as frivolous as before, so favonovel.com nodded and entered the house with them.
Soon, Jane noticed that Faye’s two bodyguards were coming as well, so favonovel.com said, “Fifi, can you get your two bodyguards to wait for you outside?”
Faye was stunned for a moment. “They are my personal bodyguards. It’ll be better for them to come with me.”
Jane immediately feigned favonovel.com annoyance by saying, “We have commissioned bodyguards too, but they’re waiting for us outside as well. In addition, it’s our party, and it’s a rare opportunity for us to speak our minds freely, so it’s going to be a hassle to have our bodyguards in the room.”

“Stop saying ‘but’. Do you still not believe me?” said Jane with a glum expression.
Upon hearing Jane’s remark, Faye could not bring herself to reject favonovel.com anymore, so favonovel.com agreed.
