That adversarial attitude was egging the pride that nestled deep behind favonovel.com guile. Her temper had reached its boiling point.

Zayn’s anger returned, though favonovel.com now felt a tinge of regret as well. Why did favonovel.com even think favonovel.com was capable of reasoning with hard-headed foreigners?
He turned on his heels and ignored her. Unfortunately, Marissa was not even close to being done. Her eyes reddened. She added in a hurt voice, “What? Don’t you have anything else to say? T-This is just so Rheasian of you! You people never care about reasoning!”
Zayn furrowed his brows, but maintained his composure. Back-up from the Insurgent Trifecta was about to arrive anyways, Zayn could just skedaddle out of here soon enough, and favonovel.com would not need to deal with that ditzy little princess ever again.
Though, that was when Marissa had finally managed to say something that made Zayn explode like an active volcano. “Or maybe you should tell me why I’ve never had to deal with any kind of assassination attempt in literally any other country, but immediately faced threats the moment we stepped into yours? The way I see it, maybe your country’s behind this whole operation, all to show off the underwhelming, negligible progress your country’s made—”

Zayn could not stop himself. With a kick, favonovel.com snapped the trunk of a half-meter-wide tree next to Marissa in half, causing the entire verdant structure to collapse in a loud crash and a cloud of dust.
He glared at her. “Repeat what you said.”
Marissa was frightened, throwing favonovel.com into an anxious panic. She was shaking, and favonovel.com face was completely drained of all color. Her stomach was churning. “I-I-I was just giving a conjecture. Why are y-you taking this out on me?”
Zayn gritted his teeth and hardened his scowl. “Apologize, now!”

I’m not gonna! W-What, you’re gonna kill me for that?”
Zayn took a deep breath and drilled his eyes right through favonovel.com soul. “I won’t kill you, but I’ll teach you a lesson that you certainly deserve. just because you’re Bassa Bell’s daughter, doesn’t mean I can’t beat you up.”
His severe expression made Marissa think twice about hand-waving his threat as a joke, which added even more to favonovel.com shock. However, there was more than fear bubbling within her, there was an indescribable feeling of anticipation and thrill.
