Zayn’s persistent reliance on evasive tactics rather than counterattacks did start to shift opinions among the gawking spectators. They were starting to buy Dick’s framing of Zayn’s intention, thinking that maybe the young man’s marvelous exploits were more apocryphal than genuine after all. Lindsay, in particular, was beginning to feel disappointed with Zayn’s performance.

They might even accidentally crack the hull, which would obviously spell doom to every single passenger on the cruise.
