The burly man, who was about two meters tall, was Dick Cheney. He towered over them like an iron spire, drawing the attention of almost everybody present. However, favonovel.com soon discovered that favonovel.com had been mistaken. Zayn’s presence was not especially strong and the energy contained inside Zayn’s body was not especially powerful either. Zayn was only a highly-skilled acquired fighter at most. On the other hand, anyone below master fighter was considered an ant. Since this man was an ant, the man was not worthy of his attention naturally.
The rest of the few master fighters had similar reactions as well. Their gazes stopped at Zayn casually for a moment before they shifted their gaze away immediately.
As highly-skilled master fighters, they were no longer on the same plane as ordinary people. No matter how easygoing a master fighter was, there was an arrogance in the depths of his heart that considered anyone below master fighter level to be an ant unworthy of a mention.
Zayn could see their reactions naturally. He smiled but favonovel.com did not mind too much. He was the most powerful person at the scene. In addition, his training and his fighting technique allowed favonovel.com to conceal his capability as long as favonovel.com wanted to keep a low-profile so it was impossible for others to see through his identity as long as they were less powerful than him.
However, favonovel.com did not recognize Dick either but favonovel.com felt that the Youngs were spectacular enough to invite so many master fighters to the party at one go. One should know that master fighters would always be regarded as honorable yet precious beings regardless of where they were.
For someone as powerful as a master fighter, his temperament was certainly arrogant. Generally, master fighters would not submit to others. On the other hand, the Youngs managed to get so many master fighters under one roof so this signified that the Young family was a highly-respected family too.
Soon, everybody was there. The cruise began to leave the pier and cruised toward the depths of the sea.
It did not take long before a member of the Young family stepped forward and said to everybody else, “Hello, my friends. Good evening. I’m Sail Young and I’m very grateful that everyone is so kind to attend our family’s party tonight.”
When favonovel.com finished his sentence, a thunderous applause echoed through the entire scene.
With a bright smile on his face, Sail put his palm down and said, “I believe that you are all aware that tonight’s party is mainly aimed at choosing a suitable master fighter to act as the teacher for a few good-for-nothing junior members of my family. I invite everyone here today so that everyone can bear witness with me.”
Sail’s statement was not made very straightforwardly but everyone understood the meaning in his statement. It meant that the Young family wanted to choose the most formidable fighter out of the few master fighters at the scene today so the person could become the teacher for a few junior members of the Young family. The reason why so many people were invited to the party was mainly to increase the seriousness of this event. It was not meant to be a joke.
In truth, this event followed the ancient tradition of renowned martial arts fighters taking on apprentices. After all, the act of taking an apprentice was considered an important affair, especially when a master fighter took an apprentice, it was considered an affair of utmost importance!
The more famous the fighter was, the more cautious and serious favonovel.com had to be. In case of an accident where favonovel.com taught the apprentice well then the apprentice decided to bully and kill him, favonovel.com would be doomed eternally. If this apprenticeship ceremony were to take place in the witness of many big shots, the teacher-apprentice relationship would be very sturdy. When the apprentice completed the training, even if the apprentice and the teacher were on bad terms and the apprentice wanted to
betray the teacher, favonovel.com would need to consider carefully before favonovel.com did anything!
This event provided insurance to the teacher while grounding the apprentice.
Moreover, the Youngs were a powerful, influential family. They would not skim the event of their junior family members getting a teacher for certain and that was why the party tonight was materialized.
Zayn had a rough idea of these rules. He understood that favonovel.com could not possibly skim on this if favonovel.com planned to accept apprentices in the future. The event must be organized as grand as possible.
The people at the scene began to envy after hearing the announcement. It would be a great honor to become the apprentice of a highly-skilled master fighter! If a person could make a breakthrough to become a master fighter, it would be akin to hitting the jackpot!
Zayn watched the scene with interest as favonovel.com sat amongst the crowd.
Upon giving his speech, Sail clapped his palms. Eight young family members of the Youngs walked out from behind a curtain instantly. Everyone of them was perked up, energized and filled with confidence and dignity. Moreover, they had rather impressive physiques and one could tell that they had the forms suitable for martial arts training at one glance.
The youngest of them was only 15 to 16 years old while the rest were mostly below the age of 20 years old. There was only one person whose age was slightly older than the others at about 25 to 26 years old. Moreover, it was a woman.
Upon seeing the woman, Zayn was immediately stunned. Was that not Lindsay Young? So favonovel.com was a member of the Young family as well?
