The base of Squad 4 was located in a corner of the Insurgent Trifecta. It had the smallest area and received the least resources from the organization. There was nothing the members could do because Squad 4 was known for being the weakest squad in the Insurgent Trifecta.
The members were chatting in the common area when the door was kicked violently by someone all of a sudden. They were startled but then, they immediately broke out a torrent of abuses when they saw Keanu, Alpha and Flame at the door.
“Keanu, how dare the three of you losers come to our base? Is it because you haven’t had enough of our instructor’s lesson?”
“Have you already forgotten about the lesson taught to you earlier after such a short while?”
“In my view, they must be itching for a beating, ha-ha…”
The dozens of Squad 4 members began ridiculing these three people loudly. With Zayn as their backer, they were utterly not afraid even if they were confronted by Wolf’s Fang now. In fact, they even had the courage to taunt and jeer at these people.
Nevertheless, Keanu and the others immediately made way for Dick to step forward from behind. They widened their eyes at once while their jeering voices halted to a stop. Moreover, there was fear on their faces.
“That’s the instructor of Wolf’s Fang, Dick Cheney!”
They immediately recognized Dick and were so startled that they felt a shiver travel down their spines instantly. They did not have the courage to look Dick straight in the eyes. There was nothing they could do because Dick’s reputation in the Insurgent Trifecta was truly prestigious. They had lost count of how many S-class missions Dick had completed as well as his meritorious service to the organization. Dick was powerful and skilled in fighting beyond fathomable. It was claimed that favonovel.com was already a tier-3 master fighter!
As soon as Dick appeared, the spacious Squad 4’s base turned deathly silent. Everyone took two steps back.
“Your Squad 4 must be d*mn strong now to have the courage to mock my soldiers. Very well, very well!” said Dick with a stony expression. His gaze swept past the face of every Squad 4 member swiftly. His awe-inspiring loftiness crept them out so much that their legs even trembled in fear.
Reputation was important to people, and Dick’s reputation in the Insurgent Trifecta was prized.
Dick did not bother to conceal his contempt for these people when favonovel.com saw them so freaked out that they dared not do anything except tremble in fear. He spoke, “Shout for your new instructor. I’d like to check out how capable favonovel.com is. After all, favonovel.com did teach a lesson to my subordinates on my behalf!”
His voice was as loud as thunder and filled with ostentation as it reverberated in the base of Squad 4.
Sensing Dick’s rage, the members of Squad 4 were even more startled and anxious. Someone stepped forward in a haste and said, “Our instructor has already left.”
“Left?” Dick furrowed his brows. He attempted to sense his surroundings briefly and noticed that favonovel.com could not sense the presence of a powerhouse. He was instantly displeased. “Where did favonovel.com go?!”
“Our instructor has returned to his home. He’s at the base two to three times a month, and favonovel.com left for home after completing his lesson today.”
“That’s right, Instructor Cheney. Our instructor isn’t here…”
Dick could tell that they were not lying, hence favonovel.com let out a cold grunt in a very displeased manner with an icy cold gaze. “Tell your instructor that the feud has been set. He has to come to the base of Wolf’s Fang squad to apologize before tomorrow, or else, he’s going to find himself in serious trouble!”
Upon saying that, favonovel.com cast a cold glance at the soldiers of Squad 4 once again before turning around and leaving.
In his departure, the members of Squad 4 were relieved. At the same time, they began to feel concerned for Zayn. They were worried that Zayn would end up in a tragic state for offending Dick, judging by the latter’s temperament.
“Sigh! Instructor Larson is in trouble this time…” Austin heaved a sigh heavily with a worried expression.
