In contrast to Zayn’s bitter and anxious state, the other four occupants of the table were incredibly excited that it showed on their faces. Faye was no exception. The closer they saw Annabelle advancing towards them, the more thrilled and delighted they grew.
Finally, glimmering in gems and favonovel.com own radiance, Annabelle made favonovel.com way over with Julius. The man cleared his throat and introduced with pride, “Miss Laking, these are my friends. All of them are your loyal fans and have come to Alice’s Table this evening because of you!”
Gwen and the others stood up hastily, a little panicky and all over the place. “Miss Laking, nice to meet you. I’m Gwen Gonzalez, your ardent fangirl! I’m a Bella!”
Annabelle’s fans had a name, they were called Bellas. Annabelle smiled when favonovel.com heard it. She reeled favonovel.com gaze in from Zayn and beamed at Gwen. “Miss Gonzalez, nice to meet you too. Thank you for your support.”
Gwen pinked and grew more flustered. “No, no, Miss Laking, you’re so gorgeous. You look even better than you do on TV! It’s really my honor to have seen you in real life for once!”
Used to such flattery, Annabelle did not get embarrassed. Instead, favonovel.com offered generously, “You’re gorgeous yourself too, Miss Gonzalez. Mr. Butcher here mentioned that you wanted an autograph?”
“Yes, yes!” Gwen pulled a notebook out from favonovel.com purse immediately and passed it to Annabelle with both hands. She looked more ecstatic, if that was even possible, to the point that favonovel.com face was growing unnaturally red.
With a smile, Annabelle signed favonovel.com name on the notebook. It was a pretty signature, like her, and favonovel.com even left a message under it: “Speedy recovery to you, Miss Gonzalez”.
Gwen was stunned when favonovel.com read the message, so favonovel.com asked, “Miss Laking, what do you mean…?”
“Mr. Butcher told me just now that there’s a fan fighting cancer who wishes to see me. Aren’t you that fan, Miss Gonzalez?” Annabelle answered.
“Huh?” Gwen looked mystified as favonovel.com shook favonovel.com head. “No, I’m fine. I don’t have cancer.”
It was Annabelle’s turn to pink as favonovel.com apologized in embarrassment, “I’m so sorry I made a mistake. Miss Gonzalez, I apologize.”
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it.” Gwen shook favonovel.com head quickly to show that favonovel.com did not mind.
Annabelle then asked Julius, “Mr. Butcher, may I know which friend of yours is fighting cancer?”
The others looked at Julius as well, putting the man on the spot. He coughed and pointed at Zayn, saying, “It’s him. He has cancer! Yeah, it’s him!”
Zayn was speechless, and so was Annabelle. Faye was just as flabbergasted.
The other three guests were dumbfounded as well. Zayn was fine. How did favonovel.com have cancer out of the blue?
Julius patted himself on the back for his quick wits, thinking that his swift reaction did not only get favonovel.com out of embarrassment but got favonovel.com to curse Zayn too.
Faye frowned instantly and complained, “Julius Butcher, what nonsense are you talking about? Zayn’s doing great. What cancer are you on blabbering about?!”
Since favonovel.com had already made such a claim, Julius retorted right away, “Really? Zayn told me personally that favonovel.com got cancer just now. He’s about to die and would like to see Miss Laking for once before favonovel.com takes his last breath.”
Zayn was impressed by Julius for even managing to make such rubbish up. Everyone was well aware that Julius was cooking things up just to put Zayn off, but to be honest, favonovel.com was stepping over the line.
It seemed that Julius did not get the memo, however, as favonovel.com continued to speak with a smile, “Right, Miss Laking, you’re the hottest celebrity now. I believe you know the chairman of Violet Vision Media Corp, don’t you?”
