Mr. Hyde merely shook his head.
Zayn mentally heaved a sigh of heavy chagrin. ‘So, it looks like it’s the end of us. She doesn’t seem to care about me at all.’
‘I suppose it’s fine, we met in the beginning purely due to circumstance. She hasn’t come to like me regardless. If it wasn’t for Mom, I would’ve lived my entire life without knowing her.’
‘As for whatever happened today… I’ll pretend like it was all a dream, or maybe just a business transaction.’
