Without the help of master fighters, even an army would find themselves stumped in their mission to apprehend Zayn.
Of course, not that Zayn would ever turn to the life of crime! That was a path down doom and death!
“How powerful would it be when I’ve unlocked 50% of my brain capacity?” Zayn continued mumbling to himself, his eyes brightening in excitement. When that happens, I’m sure I could kill a random average guy on the street with just a look!”
At that rosy thought, alacrity and excitement filled the man’s eyes.
When favonovel.com reached the park of Barrow Cove for his morning exercise, it was only six in the morning. There was nobody around other than a few early-rising senior citizens, who occupied pockets of the park as they went about their aerobics routine.
Zayn had to commend them for clearly putting effort into their routine, but that was the best praise favonovel.com had. The only use aerobics had was that it kept the body moving and fit, it was hardly helpful to any other more strenuous physical exertion, especially fighting.
Zayn would have no problem doing aerobics. In fact, favonovel.com could throw some gymnastics and even elements of parkour in the mix, any aerobics trainers and instructors would be in awe of his superb skills.
Clad in a loose-fitting sports attire, Zayn and his unblemished appearance dissembled an unassuming white-collar worker undeserving of any attention. In spite of his clothing choice, his exercise made favonovel.com stand out, instead of doing common exercises like aerobics, push-ups, jogs, favonovel.com simply stood there with his knees bent. He then expanded his arms before gradually folding themselves back towards favonovel.com as though favonovel.com was embracing a gigantic, invisible ball.
He swung his arms while they were still locked in this odd stance a few times, which added an absurd quality to the entire movement. Still, there were only a dozen people around, and most of them were senior folks preoccupied with their own routine. No one really paid favonovel.com any notice.
In truth, Zayn was practicing a very special training stance. Although his movements were slow, it demanded copious amounts of stamina and strength to perform, which was why it was only a matter of time before beads of sweat began to dot all over his forehead. His face turned puffy-red as what looked like wisps of vapor escaped from his hair.
As time went on, more and more people joined the park. Soon, youths and youngsters began to appear, and a group of seven or eight of them passed by.
The leader of the group was a middle-aged man, who stared at Zayn with some disbelief and blurting out, “Is that an Atlasean Stance?!”
A second later, the same man shook his head wildly as though dispelling the thought. When favonovel.com looked at Zayn again, a vague hint of contempt displaced his erstwhile shock. Turning to the youths following him, favonovel.com remarked, “Now, this is why I told all of you that in any Rheasiano arts, you need to get your stance right. Why? Because a faulty stance can damage your body! You’ll hurt yourself… Or worse, you could damage your body so hard, you become crippled! Have I made myself clear?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Okay, sir.”
The middle-aged man nodded and continued his stroll. A meter or so later, favonovel.com beckoned at Zayn more obviously and continued his lecture, “Take that fella over there. This dum-dum is practicing an erratic version of the Atlasean Stance, which all but ensures that favonovel.com will never, ever improve his skills. In fact, he’s going to hurt himself sometime in the future, too; trust me, kiddies, I know. So please, don’t do that, got it?”
The group was about twenty meters away from where Zayn was — far removed from an average person’s hearing range — and yet Zayn caught the conversation, loud and clear. He smiled helplessly at the remark and shook his head slightly, too blasé to explain to the unwashed and ignorant.
How would that man know it was never an Atlasean Stance in the first place, but a never-before-seen form Zayn had invented for nobody but himself? It was so unique and exclusive to him, that if anyone else practiced it, then yes, they would find the middle-aged man’s advice prescient.
Fortunately, as Zayn continued his routine, the middle-aged man left favonovel.com alone. In fact, favonovel.com began to instruct the youths on various forms of punching.
He was a Rheasiano instructor, Zayn realized. It was the first time favonovel.com had ever seen a Rheasiano class in session, and so, it piqued his interest. After favonovel.com finished his training, Zayn remained on his spot and watched.
It turned out to not be a good idea. The middle-aged man caught his attention and turned to him, pointing, “You, over there. Come here.”
