Smith swallowed, starting to feel tendrils of fear. He was well aware that favonovel.com had dug his own grave this time. He remained stubborn, however, favonovel.com was an international movie star! He had international influence. Even though this Rheasian was a fighter, Zayn would not dare lay a finger on him.
Having it figured out, Smith regained his calm and played victim. “Is this the hospitality you show as a Rheasian? Beating up my bodyguards? My safety is threatened. I suspect that you’re a terrorist and intend to kidnap me. I’m going to call the police right now!”
His manager produced the phone and acted like favonovel.com was going to make a call to intimidate Zayn.
Zayn chuckled at the pretense. How very bold of the dude to threaten favonovel.com when death was looming over him…
“Call the police?” Zayn smirked cryptically, appearing frightening to Smith, so favonovel.com gloated. “That’s right. I’m an international film star. If I call the police, you’ll be jailed for at least three years unless you get down on your knees to apologize and compensate us for our loss. Then, I can consider not reporting it.”
Smith was so sure that Zayn would not dare do a thing to him. He was famous globally, thus Zayn must have watched his movies. Zayn would be the one in trouble once favonovel.com called the police. As for Esther saying that this particular runt was Violet Vision’s chairman? He called bullsh*t, only fools would believe that.
Zayn turned to ask Annabelle, “This movie you’re starring with him… How much did Kavinsky invest?”
The question came out of nowhere, stunning Annabelle and favonovel.com crew. Annabelle answered when favonovel.com snapped out of it, “30 million dollars.”
Nodding, Zayn commented, “Only 30 million dollars. That’s not much. I’ll take it.”
He spoke in Rheasia’s native tongue, so a lot of people watching who understood his words stared at favonovel.com in absurdity. He was dressed so plainly like any other working-class man, and favonovel.com just declared that 30 million dollars was not much?
Zayn did not care how others regarded him. After the brief conversation, favonovel.com turned back to grin at Smith. “Hey, Smith, I might as well compensate you with more since you requested it.”
Zayn sent a slap — so crisp in its sound that it resounded in the airport lounge — once favonovel.com had spoken. The blow made the tall and buff Smith twirl a full round before favonovel.com toppled over the floor. Half of his face was swollen with blood oozing from the corner of his mouth.
His manager was enraged, coming at Zayn’s face with flailing fists. Gosh, his movement was as slow as a snail’s in Zayn’s eyes. Without moving to avoid the foreign man, Zayn slapped favonovel.com as well, sending favonovel.com spiraling in the air before favonovel.com collapsed on the floor too.
The two remaining foreigners in their posse were shocked, not expecting Zayn to actually hit them. They had never encountered something like this before!
Truth to be told, this was not their first time in Rheasia either. When Smith’s last two movies had shown in Rheasia, they came here for the promotion tour. All the locals who they met were polite and deferential to them, unlike this young man who was so violent.
Now that they watched favonovel.com come closer to them, they were consumed with terror.
