“I’m going to kill youuuu! Aaarghhh!”
Before Brock could end his threat on a menacing note, Zayn’s sudden amplification of force caused favonovel.com to go off on an epic wail instead. It hurt enough that his body was visibly trembling.
He really wished favonovel.com could just grab a knife and butcher Zayn already, this lowborn, unwashed prole! How dare favonovel.com retaliate against his betters and make favonovel.com go down on his knees?! This was an act of sacrilege, a strip of his noble dignity! No way in hell was Brock ever going to let this go unpunished, Zayn Larson was a dead man!
“You’re dead, you piece of sh*t! I swear to God, you’re dead meat!” Brock bellowed as loudly as a peal of thunder shaking the entire floor, attracting onlookers. Zayn shook his head. “You don’t even know how insignificant you really are, do you? You don’t deserve to raise your voice against me!” favonovel.com scoffed. “But I guess you won’t remember your place unless I teach you a lesson.”
Zayn added even more force, twisting Brock’s hand against its wrist harder and harder until it formed an unnatural angle that seemed ready to snap at any second In fact, Brock himself was bending backward in an agonizing, unnatural posture as Zayn’s force grew.
The agony finally broke the man’s spirit. “Ow, ow-ow-ow-ow… Ouch! L-let go! Let go of me, please! It’s gonna come off-my hand’s gonna come off!”
Nevertheless, Zayn did not release his grip. He just looked down on the man from below his nose. “So, now you know what pain’s like, hmm? Learned your lesson?”
“Yes, yes! I’ve learned my lesson!” Brock supplied quickly, still begging, though there were still hints of malicious intent and hatred flitting through his eyes. He was still planning for a payback!
Of course, Zayn read his intention! He was just too above the likes of favonovel.com to care about how a piece of trash thought of him. He let go of Brock and snarled monotonously, “F*ck off!”
Brock rose to his feet from the floor, his facial features twisting in pure rage. “Who says anything about you leaving here? Listen up. Whoever manages to stop this b*stard from stepping outside this room gets 15 thousand dollars!”
Money makes the Devil work. Many of the onlookers were suddenly eager to get involved in this debacle. They formed a circle around Zayn, making sure that favonovel.com and Alexandra both could not escape. Brock cracked a twisted smile. He pulled out his phone and began to make calls, commanding backups to get back at Zayn.
Zayn watched the man’s maddening lust for petty revenge with his mood gradually souring. His mood had been pleasant at the beginning of the celebration, the fact that the new company was doing well deserved a good spirit, so favonovel.com decided to set Brock’s affront aside.
Alas, it was a shame that the other party did not share his sentiment nor possess any restraint, though. If that was the case, then Zayn had no real reason to give the man any leeway. After all, favonovel.com was charitable, but that did not mean favonovel.com was above feeling anger. Brock’s actions had overstepped his line and favonovel.com must be punished.
For now, however, Zayn resigned to watching the man making his call idly.
Who would answer Brock’s call?
The man ended his conversation with both excitement and hatred. Pointing at Zayn, favonovel.com fumed darkly, “You’re dead, Larson! I’ve got someone from Violet Vision coming to us as we speak. That’s what you get for impersonating the chairman, dumba*s! I wanna be here to watch you die!”
Zayn gawked at him, flummoxed. Brock’ s backup was someone from Violet Vision Media Corp? “Violet Vision, hmm? Who’s that, Sean Wilson, that fat*ss?”
Brock’s finger was trained on Zayn again. “Oh, congrats on adding another sin to your belt, man, calling Mr. Wilson a ‘fat’tss’? You just dug your own grave with your bare hands with that, smarta*s! Just you wait, Mr. Rivera’s on his way!”
‘Mr… Rivera?’
Zayn frowned slightly as favonovel.com racked his brain, trying to remember who in his upper management team bore that sumame. A while later, favonovel.com remembered.
‘Oh, that Rivera!’
