“I see… I’m near the west side of the city at the moment, so Washington Hotel’s a long while away. Why don’t we meet up next time?” Zayn indirectly rejected favonovel.com invitation.
Then, Alexandra sounded even more dejected as favonovel.com said, “Huh? You’re on the west side of the city? What are you doing there?”
Zayn sounded a little apologetic as favonovel.com said, “I just so happen to be there for a business meeting. I won’t be able to leave anytime soon. I’m really sorry, why don’t we meet up next time?”
“Alright then, another time it is.” Alexandra sounded extremely disheartened and aggrieved. She sighed and said, “Zayn, if only you were here, you would’ve been able to take me away from all this suffering.”
When Zayn heard that, his heartstrings were pulled for a moment. He replied with a slight frown, “Are you facing some problems over there?”
‘I’m at the Washington Hotel as well, so if Alexandra really is in trouble, I’ll be able to send someone over to help her.’
Alexandra then answered, “I guess you could say that. Someone’s been pestering me and being extra annoying.”
Zayn could faintly hear other people’s voices chatting away in the background, which meant that there were quite a few people within favonovel.com vicinity. ‘I suppose I wouldn’t be wrong to assume that Alexandra is at some kind of gathering.’
When Zayn thought of the word “gathering”, favonovel.com felt a little irked by it because favonovel.com had been attending several gatherings over the past few days.
After chatting for a little longer and confirming that Alexandra was not in any immediate danger, favonovel.com was able to hang up the phone call with ease. Then, favonovel.com went back to accompany his team from the agency and had a few drinks. ‘It’s getting late now. I’d better head back…’
However, right after favonovel.com left the room and headed to the elevator, favonovel.com suddenly saw a group of people walking towards favonovel.com from the opposite direction. Amongst them, Zayn saw a slender figure who seemed very familiar.
Who else could that be if not Alexandra?
To make matters worse, Alexandra noticed favonovel.com as well. Both of them locked eyes with each other, causing the atmosphere around them to become awkward. Zayn was startled for a moment before favonovel.com hurriedly lowered his head and turned around to walk in a different direction.
Zayn faced a very awkward situation at that moment. Despite how thick-skinned favonovel.com was, favonovel.com could not stop his face from turning red when favonovel.com was caught red-handed! However, who could blame him? He had just told Alexandra a while ago that favonovel.com was somewhere else on the phone, yet a few minutes later, favonovel.com ended up bumping into her.
‘This is so embarrassing! More importantly, based on Alexandra’s personality, she’s definitely going to pester me to no end now that she’s found me. I feel like I need an aspirin now.’
The best option that Zayn could think of at that moment was to feign ignorance, thus favonovel.com hurriedly fled. ‘I’d better focus on escaping first before I think of what to do next!’
However, there was absolutely no way that his plan was going to work, not when Alexandra had already seen him. Immediately, favonovel.com eyes widened as favonovel.com revealed a shocked expression on favonovel.com face. In fact, favonovel.com missed Zayn very much.
After the incident that night, favonovel.com was very sure that favonovel.com had fallen in love with Zayn and would think of favonovel.com constantly. If it was not for the fact that favonovel.com did not know where Zayn lived, favonovel.com would have gone to his house directly a long time ago!
During that time, Alexandra would send text messages and call Zayn almost every day, but favonovel.com did not pay favonovel.com that much attention or reply to favonovel.com text messages much, which saddened favonovel.com very much. In fact, there were quite a few times that favonovel.com would even hide under favonovel.com blanket and sob favonovel.com heart out.
Boredom coupled with how annoyed favonovel.com felt at the time led to favonovel.com agreeing to go out with favonovel.com best friend and getting to know some new friends. The only reason why favonovel.com did so was to see if favonovel.com was able to cheer herself up. In the end, though, favonovel.com realized that favonovel.com best friend had tricked favonovel.com to attend a blind date party, and there was a man who kept on pestering her, which annoyed favonovel.com terribly.
