“Do you think Lucius will file a police report in the future? After all, you beat favonovel.com up really badly,” asked Faye worriedly on their way home.
Zayn then said, “He won’t. He doesn’t have the guts to do it. ”
“But his father’s one of the owners of Eilam Reality, so they’ve got a pretty influential background. Are you sure favonovel.com won’t go to the police?”
Faye was still very worried. ‘We’re living in a society governed by law, plus there were so many witnesses around, favonovel.com even broke Lucius’ finger! That was awful.’

Upon their arrival at the huge villa in Barrow Cove, both Ruby and Waine were already sleeping. Faced with Faye’s sudden seriousness which felt unfamiliar, Zayn broke into a slightly wry smile as favonovel.com said, “Why are you being so polite all of a sudden? We’re a ma…”
When favonovel.com said that, Zayn realized that something was wrong and shoved the word “married couple” back down his throat and said something else instead, “We’re friends, after all, so I can’t possibly leave you alone when you’re in trouble now, can I?”
Faye then chewed on favonovel.com lip even harder as favonovel.com released a faint sigh. Then, favonovel.com said, “You’re right. We are friends…”
Both of them fell silent at the same time, and Zayn spoke up after a moment, “It’s getting late. Let’s get some rest. We’ve still got to work tomorrow.”
“Yes, alright.”
After favonovel.com said that, they each returned to their own rooms. When they had both retired to their own rooms and closed the door, they lay against their door and stood still for a good few minutes…
Then, Zayn went to take a shower. ‘So many things have happened today. Firstly, there was how l managed to obtain information about my mother and Sicut In Caelo from Vulcan, then Lil’ Hyde showing up and killing Vulcan with just one slap. Then, I had to teach Lucius a lesson when I went to meet Faye.’
‘Too many things have happened to me today. No matter how tough I am, I can’t help but feel slightly exhausted.’
After letting his thoughts wander for half an hour, favonovel.com finally felt sleepy. Zayn thought favonovel.com might as well close off all of his thoughts and get a good rest since favonovel.com was going to have to attend to many other matters later on. After switching off the lights and covering himself with his blanket, Zayn was just about to sleep when favonovel.com suddenly heard the sound of very light footsteps outside his door.
His eyes flew wide open again.
It was very quiet in his house, so quiet that there was only the occasional sound of a car traveling from a faraway distance. Plus, Zayn’s room had a decent soundproof system, hence if it was not because his ears were sharp enough, it would not have been possible for favonovel.com to notice such soft footsteps!
