“Please, sir, these are two braindead morons you’re looking at! Please don’t take their words seriously!” Gordon pleaded.
Zayn waved favonovel.com off dismissively, hinting that favonovel.com did not care about whatever they say.
He turned to Vulcan and began, “Alright, Vulcan. Please just drop the pretense, okay? I can sense the rising vitality from you. At least half of your strength has recovered, isn’t it?”
Vulcan sputtered hard. He looked very much closer to the dead than to the living. “I don’t understand what you’re saying, man. What, you don’t know how hard you hit? I’m literally about to die here. Look, Zayn, your mother and I go way back, so can you please show much needed mercy on the sake of our relationship? I promise to reward you handsomely.”
“Oh..? How handsomely, exactly?” Zayn said, cocking his brow in apparent interest.
A glimmer of hope lit up in Vulcan’s eyes. He coughed again, before answering, “How about 150 million dollars? I’ll transfer the amount to your bank account the moment you release me.”
Everyone else in the room widened their eyes as their breathing quickened. Even Gordon’s eyebrows were cocked, favonovel.com was visibly enticed!
150 million dollars? He had worked so hard for all his life, and favonovel.com still never managed to crack that gate. And yet, all Zayn needed to do was to give the order, and favonovel.com would have that amount in a snap! In a blink of an eye, his reverence to Zayn skyrocketed even more.
His minions’ reactions were even more overt, 150 million dollars was an impossibility to them, even if they worked their damnedest with every second of their lives!
Zayn, however, simply scoffed. “Really, Vulcan? You’re about to die, and you’re still gonna use an old trick like that? Besides, 150 million dollars is nothing to me, it’s such a petty amount! You really think that’s enough to bribe me? Please! Now, 1.5 billion? Then I’d consider letting you go.”
It was an obvious cue that Zayn had no plan to free favonovel.com at all, favonovel.com was just playing with his food. In a span of milliseconds, different expressions seemed to flicker across his features. He lowered his head and scanned his surroundings. He found an opening.
Vulcan suddenly sprung into his feet without any prior signs and hurled toward the other direction. He was planning to escape through the window. It was so abrupt that Gordon and the rest were completely bemused. None of them had expected a man so gravely injured to possess such power to rebound and run, favonovel.com was faster than even an athlete!
Two of the minions blocking the window found themselves easily shoved aside like children being pushed away by a speeding adult. They could not stop favonovel.com at all. It was shocking to them, as they had never expected this to happen. Of course, no one was more shocked than the two minions who had been upset about Zayn’s comment, who were now very stunned and flummoxed.
Vulcan was about to leap out of the window when someone among them started to move.
It was Zayn. Like a flash of lightning, favonovel.com strode toward Vulcan with only three or four steps before standing behind him. Then, favonovel.com reached his hand out and grappled the man’s neck. He squeezed, and with a snap, the man’s spine was dislocated.
Vulcan let out an ear-splitting shriek before his whole body went limp.
Still holding onto his neck, Zayn dragged the man back into the detainment unit. Once again, the entire room had fallen into a shocked silence.
