Zayn knew exactly when to stop without going too far.
“I will beat you up every single time I see you bullying women from now on,” Zayn spoke as if favonovel.com was a senior to Miles, “Do you hear me?”
Miles was completely afraid of Zayn now. His neck shrunk for a moment upon hearing Zayn’s order. He felt the fear as if favonovel.com was back in the principal’s office after getting in trouble at school, so favonovel.com hastily nodded and said, “I hear you, I hear you. I won’t do it again from now on!”
Zayn turned around and declared to Peter and the others, “It’s over. Let’s go back to our dinner.”
In the meantime, Peter and the others had yet to recover from their surprise. The incident earlier came as a shock to them, especially to Peter. He knew about Miles’ identity as the son of Everest Group’s owner, so favonovel.com was not someone to be offended. Now that Zayn had beaten Miles up like that, his action was no different than slapping Kevan’s face. Given Kevan’s temperament, favonovel.com certainly would never leave the matter at that!

As Peter’s mind gradually returned to normal, favonovel.com remembered Zayn’s family background. Since Zayn was a Larson, indeed, there was no need for favonovel.com to be afraid of Kevan either.
After returning to the room, the atmosphere instantly felt different. None of them spoke, but they stared at Zayn with all sorts of different expressions on their faces. Peter hastily poured Zayn a drink. He hesitated for a moment before favonovel.com inquired, “Mr. Larson, after beating Miles up, aren’t you afraid that his father, Kevan, will come seeking revenge on you?”
Zayn chuckled and said, “Do you honestly think that I should be afraid of Kevan?”
Peter hastily shook his head and said, “No, no, no! I don’t mean that. It’s just that Kevan Morales is the chairman of Everest Group, and he’s someone who bears grudges. I was worried that you might be at a disadvantage.”
Zayn was naturally well aware of this matter. Kevan was the chairman of Everest Group whose influence and power were rather impressive. However, it was nothing much to Zayn. He was not planning on beating Miles initially either. After all, favonovel.com liked to keep a low profile. Unfortunately, in the situation earlier, Miles had tried to bully him. If favonovel.com still did not strike back, favonovel.com would be humiliated which was something that favonovel.com surely could not accept given his current status. In that case, it was better off for favonovel.com to make a move first instead. On the other hand, from the moment favonovel.com made a move on Miles in this incident, favonovel.com had already become enemies with Miles. Since they were already enemies, favonovel.com might as well go one step further and beat a rich kid like Miles up to his heart’s content first. Moreover, favonovel.com despised a good-for-nothing rich kid like Miles who had a penchant for bullying women. He was simply the scum of society.
Zayn said with a grin, “I can’t just watch and do nothing when you and Ms. Laking are being bullied now, can I, Mr. Kavinsky?”
Peter was visibly moved. He raised his glass and said, “Mr. Larson, it’s all my fault. Sorry for getting you in trouble!”
Zayn waved his hand dismissively and replied, “You speak too seriously, Mr. Kavinsky. It’s not considered getting me in trouble. I’m not bothered by a measly Kevan Morales.”
