Adam instantly scoffed as laughter escaped his lips. “Hold on, what did you say? Did I hear wrongly? Did favonovel.com actually say that he’s the chairman of Violet Vision? Hahaha… ”
The few cast members beside favonovel.com could not help but chuckle as if they had just heard a very funny joke. Furthermore, they were all looking at Zayn and Bobby like they were looking at a pair of clowns.
When Annabelle heard this, favonovel.com looked towards Zayn and thought that favonovel.com was a party clown before favonovel.com stopped paying any further attention to him. Instead, favonovel.com said to the director, “Let’s hurry up and get back to filming instead of wasting time on such trivial matters.”
“Yes, alright.” Then, the director shot both Zayn and Bobby a fierce stare before favonovel.com resumed filming.
Bobby heaved a huge sigh of relief when favonovel.com noticed that the director and the others had walked away with no intention of pursuing the matter. He then wiped the cold sweat on his forehead and said, “Zayn, could you please not crack such a joke anymore the next time? My heart really can’t handle this sort of stress.”
Zayn felt very helpless as well. ‘Who said I was joking? I really am the chairman of Violet Vision.’
However, favonovel.com could not be bothered to explain himself about this any further, hence favonovel.com patted Bobby on the shoulder and assured his friend, “Alright, Odd Bob. I promise that I won’t land you into these kinds of problems anymore.”
Bobby readjusted his breathing and said, “Zayn, I didn’t mean to put it that way, but it’s really hard to find a job right now. Plus, we haven’t got much experience and any unique skills, so being an extra is one of the very few chances for us to hope to turn our lives around. So, if we were to even offend either Mr. Gibbins or Adam, neither of us will be able to find a job in this industry that easily anymore.”
When Zayn heard this, favonovel.com felt a warmth in his heart and nodded his head before favonovel.com answered, “Ok, I understand, Odd Bob.”
Then, Bobby once again revealed a smile on his face and said, “That’s good. Let’s get prepared since filming’s about to start. Let’s make use of this opportunity. It’ll benefit us to be able to show up on-screen for even one extra second! Who knows? If we do manage to gain the attention of the audience and become famous, we’re going to be rich! Good luck!”
Zayn was actually pretty intrigued when favonovel.com saw how motivated Bobby was. ‘It’s like I’ve gone back to the past-back to when I was still considered a part of the Carters and working hard together with Bobby.’
Soon, the director announced that filming had officially begun, thus Zayn was finally able to experience what it was like to film a movie.
Actually, Zayn was quite embarrassed because although favonovel.com was the chairman of a media company and was considered one of the bigshots in the entertainment industry, favonovel.com actually did not even know what the process of filming a movie was like.
Well, there was actually nothing that Zayn could do about it since favonovel.com was the chairman of Violet Vision, which was deemed to be at the topmost level of the entertainment industry. Therefore, favonovel.com would be fine if favonovel.com had just steered the company in the right direction by just looking at data sets and making business decisions based on the changes in the market. In fact, when it came down to it, favonovel.com actually knew nothing about filming or even singing.
Now, Zayn was actually rather amused when favonovel.com saw the filming being carried out, which opened up another world in which favonovel.com had never got involved in the past.
At that moment, after spending one to two hours observing the set, favonovel.com realized that Adam was literally a useless person who had absolutely horrendous acting skills. On the other hand, Annabelle had pretty decent acting skills and also approached favonovel.com job with a professional attitude.
During that time, Zayn fulfilled his job as an extra together with Bobby and had shown up on-screen for about two seconds, allowing Adam to completely play the role of a hero saving a damsel in distress.
However, when Zayn saw Adam’s sluggish movements which were not up to par at all and practically had no intensity behind them, favonovel.com could no longer take it. Abruptly, favonovel.com got up from the ground and commented, “Adam, your fighting movements are just too soft. You’ve got no strength in your motions at all. That’s not how you fight at all!”
Zayn could actually tell that Adam had some basics in martial arts, but it was evident that favonovel.com had spent very little time learning some martial arts in the past. Furthermore, there was no strength in his movements as well. Moreover, even though his movements were absolutely correct technically, they did not seem pleasant to watch and lacked the vigor and confidence that a veteran martial artist would have.
Instead, Adam looked more like favonovel.com was dancing. However, the most important thing to note was that the director actually
gave favonovel.com a pass. ‘If this goes on screen, it’s going to affect the movie’s reputation and end up affecting our box office for sure!’
‘Regardless, I’m the chairman of Violet Vision and I’ve invested in this movie. In fact, I would probably have looked the other way if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. However, now that I have, I can’t just let Adam ruin the product that I’ve invested in, not when it’s going to affect Violet Vision’s profits!’
However, the moment Zayn said that, Adam immediately took great offense.
