Every single person frowned to express their displeasure. Shane said in a deep voice, “Uncle, have you developed dementia? Zayn was born bad, and favonovel.com has had a penchant for rebelling since favonovel.com was young, just like his deceased mother. Next, Shane pulled a long face and said in an even deeper voice, “Everyone, don’t forget who Zayn’s mother was! Zayn is unaware of his mother’s real identity now, but when favonovel.com finds out about it later, do you think that Zayn will still treat the Larsons as his own family?”
Everyone held their breaths when that statement was made. As they recalled something, a tinge of dread flashed across their faces for a moment…
Meanwhile, a tall and huge silhouette walked in from the entrance with long strides while a few people followed behind him.
“Just a mere Zayn is enough to scare all of you to this extent? Hmph!”
All at once, everyone shifted their gaze to look towards the entrance. It was Zidane who was marching into the courtyard with long strides. He had an ostentatious, scornful expression on his face as his gaze swept past everyone and favonovel.com exuded domineeringness.
Everyone, including Shane, quieted down upon noticing his arrival. His originally vibrant aura dimmed abruptly as well. It was apparent that Zidane towered over him.

The corners of Jordan’s lips curled up ever so slightly into a proud smile as favonovel.com looked at Zidane expressing his respect. He liked Zidane from the bottom of his heart and was proud of favonovel.com as well.
“You’re back just in time, Zidane.” Jordan grabbed Zidane’s hand and pulled favonovel.com to take a seat next to him. He was extremely enthusiastic though not as much as his biological son.
Zidane said, “Dad, Zayn is just a measly character who doesn’t count for anything. If favonovel.com really has the courage to attend the memorial service tomorrow, I will make favonovel.com pay the seven billion dollars back obediently!”
“Alright. I trust you!” Jordan patted Zidane’s shoulder strenuously, having full confidence in the younger man.
It was true that Zidane had never disappointed favonovel.com for the past two to three years.
With Zidane’s remark, the Larson family members present appeared to be more at ease. Not only was Jordan assured by Zidane, but so were they. Zidane’s performance in the past two to three days was so bright that his reputation completely towered over Shane’s. Zidane deserved his reputation of being the successor to the family now.
