In exchange, they would receive a membership card with a balance of 300 thousand dollars on it, effectively meaning that the membership registration fee was 450 thousand dollars. After that, members still had to pay 470 thousand dollars annually to renew their membership. This alone was enough to keep the place exclusive. Only an extremely wealthy big shot would be willing to pay such an enormous amount of money.
