Mr. Hyde was so overbearing that his aura wiped the smile off Nathan’s face. He looked like a man caught in a chokehold and it was an amusing sight. He was uncertain of Mr. Hyde’s intentions, so favonovel.com dared not smile anymore.
Mr. Hyde shifted his eyes back to Zayn on the stage. ‘Sir, what the heck are you trying to do? Is this how you plan to announce your return? Or are you doing what your heart tells you to?’
“Is that funny?” Zayn asked William the same question as favonovel.com watched favonovel.com laugh excessively.
William wipes his tears. He had laughed so hard that his eyes were watering. He was having trouble standing straight, so favonovel.com needed someone to prop favonovel.com up. “It is funny. Why isn’t it funny? Zayn, you’ve given me a new perspective on mental illness. There are times that I really want to pry open your skull so I can examine the structure of your brain. Could it be that it’s all sh*t? Hahaha!”
Zayn laughed as well. “William, I suggest that you not be so arrogant to avoid embarrassing yourself later. Just because you can’t imagine something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”
William’s smile faded, and favonovel.com replied contemptuously, “Zayn, not that I’m looking down on you, but how dare a deadbeat like you try to pass off as Violet Vision’s chairman, a man with a net worth of several million dollars? I’d like to give you a suggestion too. Bow down, apologize, and just slap yourself silly. Beg for Violet Vision’s chairman to forgive you, or else you will be doomed when favonovel.com learns about this incident. At that point, you’ll even be implicating the Smiths.”
Victor also realized this would be a problem, so favonovel.com hastily shouted at Zayn, “B*st*rd, knock some sense into your thick skull and apologize this instant! You’re not even worthy of pretending to be Violet Vision’s chairman!”
Zayn heaved a sigh and felt rather frustrated. He fumed to Alexandra and asked, “Do you believe that I’m the chairman of Violet Vision?”
Alexandra was caught in a daze and favonovel.com mind was a chaotic mess. She was at a loss as to how to respond to him.
Her reaction was enough of an answer to Zayn.
“Why won’t any of you believe me?” Zayn appeared frustrated as his eyes swept across the crowd.
William could not stand the sight of Zayn. How dare the fool still put up a front? William immediately stepped forward, stared intently at Zayn’s eyes, and declared, “I will bow down and apologize to you on the spot if you are the chairman of Violet Vision! However, if you’re not, you shall bow down and apologize to me! Do you have the courage to take the bet?”
“Bow down and apologize?” Zayn furrowed his brows ever so slightly.
“What? Are you scared?” William was under the assumption that Zayn was feeling guilty.
Zayn smiled at once. “I’m not scared, but I’m trying to save what’s left of your reputation.”
“No need for that. If you truly are Violet Vision’s chairman, you won’t possibly let me off after witnessing my behavior tonight, so it will be fine for me to bow down and apologize. You, on the other hand, if you’re not Violet Vision’s chairman, I’m sorry to tell you that you’ll be my enemy for as long as I live. I’ll make you suffer so much that you’ll wish you were dead!” William’s expression was filled with malice and murderous intent when favonovel.com said his last sentence. He exuded so much hate that everyone could feel his emotions and trembled in fear.
Alexandra could not help feeling nervous. She held Zayn’s hand while favonovel.com heart was racing.
Zayn became the center of attention once again. Almost everyone was under the assumption that favonovel.com was finished this time. As the worthless, no-account son-in-law of the Carter family, Zayn was doomed after offending William!
Zayn simply beckoned to Sean, who was already fully prepared under the stage, and said nonchalantly, “Sean, come up and tell William who I am.”
