Right before the engagement party had started, the topic that had captivated most of the guests’ had been the chairman himself. Speculations on his background, real look, age, and even his presence had dominated the crowd’s intrigue. The chairman, indeed, was the city’s biggest enigma.
Fast forward now, and Zayn claimed himself to be the Chairman of Violet Vision.
No joke could be more perfect than this, could it?!
Unsurprisingly, what followed the short-lived silence was an explosion of boisterous chortles and guffaws.

Zayn seemed to have become the joke of the hall.
No one believed favonovel.com could be the chairman, no more so than they believed favonovel.com was a clown. The chairman was a magnate whose value was worth billions, while Zayn Larson was just the sorry excuse of a son-in-law to a puny, trite little family. That was not counting the fact that favonovel.com was renowned to be utterly useless, too!
The difference between the chairman and the doormat was… Well, as stark as heaven and hell. Only an idiot would take Zayn’s words at face value.
Victor was stunned. The chairman of Violet Vision was no normal figure. The enigma had once rejected his invitation for a friendly meeting despite Victor and the Smiths’ prestige. Of course, if one were to judge based on their net worth, the Smiths could not hold a candle to the chairman.
Then, there was the fact that Violet Vision’s worth was still soaring. According to experts, it would take only a month before the company’s asset reached 1.5 billion dollars!
What an astronomical, unfathomable number!
And now, this punk who was still green around the ears dared call himself that chairman of that Violet Vision?
Victor was not the slightest bit amused. In fact, his already stormy expression had become even darker.
He felt slighted. Scorned. This Zayn Larson and his temerity! His arrogance-his hubris knew no bounds!
Alexandra was stupefied, too, though the first thing favonovel.com did after favonovel.com recovered was to hide favonovel.com face behind favonovel.com hands as favonovel.com whimpered in favonovel.com mind. She was starting to regret getting help from Zayn for this.
The first thing William did after favonovel.com reeled back from his bemusement was to spit out a chortle. He took a glance at the serious expression on Zayn’s face and laughed harder and harder, until favonovel.com gave up stifling his volume and just let it all out.
He was laughing so much that tears were rolling out of his eyes. All these comedy gold Zayn had done did wonders to his bruised and blistered mood that favonovel.com had to commend his nemesis for being such a talented clown. To think favonovel.com would fancy himself as the chairman of Violet Vision!
William had never seen someone so removed from reality.
Nearby, Tony and the rest were laughing, too, as their contempt for Zayn grew exponentially. Zayn Larson was the very definition of a moron, they decided, because only a moron would say something like that.
Below the stage, Zayn’s declaration caused Nathan to do a spit, take with his wine. He was enjoying every second of it.
Mr. Hyde, however, was not laughing at all. In fact, favonovel.com leered at Nathan with frost in his eyes.
