Gordon cracked a grin that looked rather out of place, but there was no hint of an actual smile. Instead, it felt incredibly chilling and flippant.

“I was just wondering why you’re blustering, Zayn. I see that you’ve attached yourself to Hayes,” Nathan sneered and gave Zayn a thumbs up.

Being provoked once more by Zayn’s hubris, the corners of Nathan’s mouth twitched uncontrollably. Due to how egoistic favonovel.com was, favonovel.com was enraged that Zayn was rebuking and embarrassing favonovel.com in front of a crowd. Nonetheless, favonovel.com held it in out of consideration for the bigger picture. His gaze was bloodthirsty in spite of the smile on his face.
“Do you really think you can do as you please just because you have Hayes’ support? Humph!” He snorted before saying in a threatening tone, staring daggers at Gordon, “Hayes, I don’t know what you see in Zayn, but you just can’t save some people. Once favonovel.com gets what’s coming at him, you’ll be dragged to hell right with him!”
Gordon felt his heart rate pick up at Nathan’s threat, but favonovel.com scoffed at once and merely Zayn’s words. “Scram!”
He managed to humiliate Nathan even further with that single word. Gritting his teeth, favonovel.com glared darkly at Zayn and Gordon. “Fine, making me leave now, huh? Just you wait!”
He left with a huff, though it looked more like a sore loser’s exit no matter how anyone saw it.
There were many people around them who looked towards Zayn in surprise, asking each other about Zayn’s background and the reason favonovel.com could get Gordon’s wholehearted support. They asked how the latter did not mind offending Nathan and debated on how powerful that young man truly was.
It was something that only Gordon knew. Simply put, Zayn’s identity as Violet Vision’s chairman sufficed. He was just curious about one thing, Nathan was a spoiled heir who threw his weight around and caused nothing but trouble everywhere favonovel.com went, so how did favonovel.com come to hold a grudge against Zayn?
