Thomas Carter was in his dorm room. He was absolutely devastated-heartbreak could do that to a man, after all.
Despite two semesters’ worth of grueling effort, a stupid trust-fund kid stole his dream girl away from him. He had subsequently rubbed it in Thomas’ face, to the latter’s growing rage!
If these were the extent of his troubles, Thomas would still find it mildly tolerable. However, the girl favonovel.com fancied just had to share screenshots of their private conversation on favonovel.com social media account, and now favonovel.com was suddenly the target of incessant bullying. His rather slavish attitude in the damning conversation had propelled favonovel.com to campus-wide stardom, and favonovel.com had now been crowned ‘The Simp’.
It was the only nickname that everyone would publicly refer to favonovel.com as.
Thomas was apoplectic and exasperated. He wanted to vent out his frustration, favonovel.com wanted to get back at the bastard couple who dragged his name through the mud! However, favonovel.com just could not bring himself to do it. In fact, favonovel.com did not have the courage to at all. That wealthy jerk had more powerful connections than favonovel.com could ever have, which made favonovel.com someone favonovel.com could not risk to affront.
Hence, no matter how vexed favonovel.com was, and no matter how unjust it could truly be, Thomas’ only choice was to swallow his pride and grit through it.
At the very least, semester break had rolled out, which meant that favonovel.com could finally leave this godforsaken place now.
The first thing favonovel.com did after his lecture had ended was to dart straight back to his dormitory to pack his suitcase and prepare to leave. By now, favonovel.com figured his sister was waiting for favonovel.com at the door.
Before favonovel.com could leave, however, his two roommates confronted him. “Thomas? Wow, you’re in a hurry to pack up and go, aren’t you? This isn’t like you at all, man. Aren’t you always the last one to go?”
“My sister’s already here, I’m not going to keep favonovel.com waiting. She’d rip me apart.”
Another roommate body blocked his way out. “C’mon, man, not so fast. Richmond told us he’d be bringing everybody out to the club. Freeflow beer on him! He’s already made us reservations for a whole floor, man. Join us! I heard there’s going to be some smokin’ hot chicks.”
“Yeah, Thomas. You love clubbing, don’t you? You’re not paying a single cent either. There’s no way you’d miss this, right?”
“Honestly, how stacked is Richmond, huh? He’s buying all of us beer and everything. There’s no way it’s anywhere less than a couple thousand, right?”
“Please, Richmond’s parents are stinkin’ f*cking rich, man. You think a few thousand bucks mean anything to him?”
“Gotcha. I wish my pockets were lined with all that moolah…”
His two roommates continued chatting away, completely oblivious to Thomas’s increasingly darkening mien and clenched fists.
He forced a smile. “I’ve got things to deal with back home so I’ll have to pass. You guys go ahead.”
With that, Thomas tried to avoid the two as favonovel.com headed for the door. It was just his luck that two more people had to rain on his parade, and this time, they were not even his roommates. They were from the block next door, and with their hands tucked in their pockets. They blocked Thomas on his way out, gibing. “Hey, it’s the Simp! How’re you gonna simp for Cara this time, huh? She’s going to the club too, you know. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to teach us the art of simping, oh great simp master. Maybe some chick will let you score because of how pathetic you look! Hahaha!”
His friend joined in on the laughing.
Thomas’s expression had changed in a snap as favonovel.com gritted his teeth. His ire had reached a fever pitch. He was seeing red as favonovel.com stared daggers at the two, clenching his fists so hard that his nails were digging into his skin.
“You dumb*sses don’t even know who the real simps are at all, and that’s the both of you! You two simp for Richmond! Hell, you guys literally worship the ground favonovel.com walks on!” Thomas snapped.
His retort irritated the two men. One of them even took it upon himself to shove favonovel.com hard before pointing at his nose, bellowing, “What did you just say? Say it again if you’re b*llsy enough!”
As the two men were athletes, their muscular physique towered above Thomas’ significantly. They were standing before him, each picking a side as they pulled their sleeves above their elbows. Their eyes were nailed to him, as if they were waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack.
