All of them only understood one thing, they had gone and landed themselves in some hot water. ‘Sh*t, we’ve really rubbed Zayn the wrong way this time.’
When Wilson noticed the looks on their faces, favonovel.com knew that favonovel.com had truly offended the chairman!
Instantly, panic began to flood Wilson’s heart. ‘Sir has specifically instructed me to be present here today, so if I don’t complete the task at hand and favonovel.com finds out about it, I’m going to be in huge trouble!’
‘To make matters worse, the Carters had no idea who they’d just offended. How could they actually have the nerve to offend him?!’
“Did you guys offend… Mr. Larson?” Wilson’s tone of voice had escalated into a thunderous roar as the air around favonovel.com turned frigid. “You’ve got quite the nerve to offend Mr Larson, haven’t you? Great… Just great!”
George gulped nervously, favonovel.com was virtually falling apart from the hysteria that took control of him. He frantically questioned Mr. Wilson, “Mr. Wilson, Mr. Wilson, has there been some kind of misunderstanding? The Mr. Larson that you’re speaking of, who’s married into the Carters and a complete and utter good-for-nothing freeloader. Someone who has zero capabilities and is nothing but a coward. That Mr. Larson? Are you sure you’ve got the right person?”
“What?” When Wilson heard George’s words, favonovel.com could not suppress his shock as well. ‘Sir married into the Carters? That’s news to me! It seems as though Wilson’s intelligence and resources had rendered George speechless, as favonovel.com was unable to react at all.’
“That’s right, Zayn’s our son-in-law, though favonovel.com is rather useless… Therefore, there must be some kind of misunderstanding here, right?” asked George carefully.
Wilson came to his senses, however there was still a nagging uncertainty in his heart. He did not readily draw a conclusion, instead simply uttering the words, “Take me to Mr. Larson.”
The whole situation had spiraled out of George’s control, so favonovel.com could only compliantly obey Wilson’s wishes to meet Zayn. At that moment in time, George could only send silent prayers that the Mr. Larson in question was not Zayn at all, but someone else with a similar alias. Otherwise, the consequences that favonovel.com would face were unimaginable…
On the other hand, Zayn and Faye were being held captive in the boardroom, clutching onto their last strands of liberty. Faye could not maintain favonovel.com composure in the slightest. She was pacing around the boardroom in trepidation, favonovel.com features plagued with distress.
Her constant pacing around had caused Zayn himself to feel rather lightheaded, so favonovel.com grabbed onto Faye’s hand and helplessly pleaded to her, “Fifi, could please sit down and stop pacing around the room like that? It’s making me dizzy.”

Look at the mess that you’ve landed us in!” Faye sighed in exasperation. “I didn’t need you to drive me to work, nor did I want you anywhere near the office, but did you listen? No, of course you didn’t! Are you just asking me to keel over and die from all this anger, Zayn?!” berated Faye in stressed rage.
She was practically seeing stars from how enraged favonovel.com was, and favonovel.com heart could barely keep up with the ever growing anxiety that suffocated it.
Though when Zayn grabbed favonovel.com hand, favonovel.com was instinctively steeped in bitter regret, causing favonovel.com to push favonovel.com away. At the same time, favonovel.com anxious eyes were fixated on the entrance to the boardroom. In favonovel.com mind, favonovel.com was worried that favonovel.com would be seen by the chairman of Violet Vision in favonovel.com disheveled state, and that favonovel.com would come barging through those doors at any given moment.
A warm smile graced Zayn’s lips as favonovel.com comforted her, “Don’t worry, Fifi. Everything’s going to be fine. I’m willing to bet that after all of this, Grandpa and everybody else will be begging for our forgiveness. Could you believe that for me?”
Faye did not take kindly to his form of reassurance at all. She pinched Zayn, hard, as favonovel.com scowled at favonovel.com in detest. “Zayn, how could you ever be so talkative during a time like this?! It’s a miracle I haven’t noticed how much you go around running your mouth. Your joke wasn’t funny in the slightest!”
“Haha, that’s hilarious!”
“That’s right. He’s completely lost his marbles. He’s so full of himself that favonovel.com actually thinks favonovel.com deserves an apology from Grandpa. Why don’t you start calling yourself a god then?”
“It’s such a pity that Faye has such a mental case for a husband. He’s just delusional, tsk tsk.”
Everyone in the room joined in on the gloating.
