Faye frowned. “Why would you need to come with me?”
‘Of course I need to come with you. You messed up Howard’s investment, everyone in the family is going to look at you like you’re a menace. If I’m not there, you’ll be chastised to no end.’ However, Zayn merely kept all those thoughts to himself as favonovel.com said instead, “I rested enough last night. Plus, I’m off work today, so I’ll just drive you to work myself.”
“No need,” Faye declined in good nature. She shook favonovel.com head as favonovel.com said, “I’ll be fine going to work by myself. You carry on with whatever you’re doing.”
Zayn wolfed down his food and finished his breakfast within seconds. He wiped his mouth before saying once more, “I still think it would be better if I drove you there, Fifi. I told you that I’d protect you.”
Immediately, Faye frowned and could not help but become angry when favonovel.com saw Zayn’s adamant expression. ‘You keep on saying that you’re going to protect me, but how are you actually going to do that?’
She knew exactly what was waiting for favonovel.com at the office. A calamity was nowhere close to describing the scenario.
