Letting out a few coughs, favonovel.com questioned Alexandra, “Why are you here? Where are your bodyguards?”
Alexandra came to favonovel.com senses and retracted favonovel.com gaze from Zayn before favonovel.com admitted, “I ran away from home.”
“Ah?” sounded Zayn, taken aback. ‘Why does it sound so strange, the idea of favonovel.com running away from home? Regardless, I’m sure she’ll get over it soon. After all, she’s a lady. It’s not out of the ordinary for favonovel.com to run away after an argument.’
“Is that so?” replied Zayn. He turned around, only to realize that the middle schooler had fled from the scene out of fear.
“Since you’re safe and sound now, I’ll take my leave.” said Zayn. He did not want to be affiliated with Alexandra in too many ways.
However, as soon as favonovel.com turned away, Alexandra called out to favonovel.com in protest. “Wait!”
Zayn turned his head in suspicion before asking dubiously, “Is there something else?”
Alexandria found it hard to remain calm at that point in time. Her body wanted to be in control, but favonovel.com could not find words to express how favonovel.com felt. She looked up at Zayn for a moment before lowering favonovel.com head. “Thank you…”

Alexandra had referred to Zayn in such a way a while back, so there was nothing wrong with Zayn reciprocating the sentiment.
Though, Alexandra was put off by it. In fact, favonovel.com did not like it at much at all. She had no intention of remaining brothers with Zayn. “Zayn, I think we should go back to being friends. I don’t think brothers is going to cut it.”
Zayn rolled his eyes. ‘You realize it too, huh?’ “Fine.”
“I’ll be off now, I’m needed at home,” added Zayn.
“Wait!” Alexandria stopped Zayn in his tracks once more. “About that… It’s still early, so there isn’t really a need for you to be home right now. Why don’t… You keep me company for a while?”
Zayn was rather uncomfortable hearing favonovel.com proposal, “I’m busy tonight, my wife’s waiting for me back at home.”
When Alexandra heard his response, favonovel.com immediately turned sour. ‘That’s right, favonovel.com married into the Carters.’
“So… I’ll be off now then…”

At that very moment, Alexandra’s stomach began to growl quite aggressively. The sound did not escape Zayn’s ears.
There was an awkward pause as Alexandra’s cheeks flushed a bright, embarrassed red.
Upon closer inspection, Zayn noticed that Alexandra looked rather pale under the light. Her lips had lost all their color, and favonovel.com looked like favonovel.com was fatigued out of favonovel.com mind. Her stomach growling for release was an even clearer indicator that something was up. ‘I can tell just by favonovel.com weak posture that favonovel.com hasn’t had food in a while.’
“Did you not eat?” asked Zayn softly.

Her crying genuinely confused Zayn. ‘I didn’t bully her, so why is favonovel.com crying?’
“Hey, why are you crying?” asked Zayn helplessly.
Unexpectedly, Alexandra’s cries had crescendoed into heavy bawling that had no intention of stopping, She was snivelling too. If there was an onlooker nearby, they would have no second guesses that Zayn had done something unspeakable to her.
Zayn was completely dumbfounded as favonovel.com hurriedly ransacked his pockets and took out a piece of tissue to give to her. He then said, “What’s the matter, Alex? Why are you crying?”
“I haven’t eaten for two days,” lamented Alexandria aggrievedly as favonovel.com accepted the tissue in favonovel.com hands. Zayn was speechless.
