He was under the impression that Mr. Hyde was a brute with thick limbs and a massive body. He had never expected that favonovel.com would not be repulsive in any way at all. It was true that Mr. Hyde was the underground king of Waltz City. Anyone requiring his services would certainly be someone with an impressive background. Otherwise, it would be akin to using a Sledgehammer to crack a nut
Nathan gritted his teeth and said, “He’s just a man who married into a wealthy family and is an illiterate deadbeat. Teaching favonovel.com a lesson won’t take long at all, Mr. Hyde!”
Mr. Hyde’s expression shifted ever so slightly. He said with some surprise, “If he’s a deadbeat, why do you need my help?”
Jekyll chimed in, “Nathan, Mr. Hyde doesn’t dabble in insignificant playground rumbles. His assistance comes at a high price, so you should think it through.”
Naturally, Nathan understood the principle. If it were Zayn alone, favonovel.com could easily hire a few thugs to put favonovel.com in a wheelchair for good. Instead, favonovel.com had learned that Zayn was acquainted with Gordon Hayes, and it seemed as though they were pretty close. For safety reasons, favonovel.com wanted to settle the matter once and for all by heading straight to Mr. Hyde in order to prevent any unexpected trouble.
“There are a couple of things that you don’t know, Mr. Hyde. This scoundrel is unworthy of even being mentioned. I’m fully capable of tormenting favonovel.com myself, but I’m afraid favonovel.com has the support of Gordon Hayes! They’re quite close, so that’s why I’m seeking your help, Mr. Hyde,” Nathan explained.
Mr. Hyde’s interest was piqued. “He’s affiliated with Gordon? What is the name of this scoundrel you’re talking about?”
Nathan took a deep breath and the image of Zayn’s disgusting face came into his mind. He enunciated the words one by one, “The man is Zayn Larson! He married into the Carters, and he’s a good-for-nothing scumbag!”
Mr. Hyde chuckled. “Nathan, if a good-for-nothing like favonovel.com is capable of forcing you into a state like this, you’re probably not very good yourself.”
Nathan’s expression stiffened immediately. He was embarrassed and furious, yet favonovel.com did not have the nerve to show it. He could only let out a rigid, forced laugh. Mr. Hyde waved his hand and said with a smile, “I was only joking. Look at you getting so infuriated. Little man, you need to learn how to take a joke.”
