Shane and the others slowly began to understand as they listened in on their conversation. It turned out that the man named Zayn had married into the Carters and was living with his wife’s family. He did not hold any status in the family. Blaze was not affected by the information in the slightest, but Shane was frowning ever so slightly. He was offended by Waine and Ruby’s attitude towards Zayn.
