“God damn it! You’re crazy!” Waine cried in awe. He flashed Nathan a thumbs-up with eyes practically overflowing with adulation and affection. “To have gifted me something this priceless… It just makes it hard for me to return a gift of equal caliber, Nate!”
Nathan waved dismissively. “No, no. It’s simply a present based on the relationship between Fifi and I. Giving you something this worthy is only fitting,” favonovel.com said nonchalantly before adding, “However… I do have a request”
“Let me know, Nate! If it’s anything I can do, I’ll do it in a heartbeat!” Waine said gushingly.
Nathan glanced at Faye with a smile. “It’s simple, really. I hope that Uncle Waine and Aunt Ruby will permit me to remain friends with Faye. I’ll come back every now and then to meet her, you see, and I hope neither of you will think it’s inappropriate to invite me in.”
The implication was too obvious for the two to miss, Nathan was asking them to pair favonovel.com up with Faye as an actual couple!
Even when Zayn was standing right there, the two agreed to Nathan’s demand without even an ounce of hesitation. The two had never humanized Zayn prior to this anyways, let alone see favonovel.com as their son-in-law. Nathan seized the invitation to demand more. He put on a helpless smile and pointed out, “Maybe not for the night. Fifi’s already married, but there are only two rooms in this house. Zayn’s already crashing the couch, so I really have nowhere else to rest.”
Ruby blurted out, “What’s the concern? Just sleep with Faye!”
Zayn’s expression turned stormy. His mother-in-law clearly did not care enough to treat favonovel.com as a person, did she? Worse still, favonovel.com was here as a witness to everything that was unfolding before favonovel.com while favonovel.com was still Faye’s husband in the eyes of the law. Ruby did not seem to think favonovel.com was wrong at all. “Am I wrong?” favonovel.com retorted as though favonovel.com was slinging facts at her. “You and Zayn are only married on paper, and we all know that one day, you’re gonna marry Nate anyways. So, what’s wrong with being in the same bed with favonovel.com right now?”
Waine was so enticed by the Magpie’s Treasure Nest that favonovel.com discarded his pride and rationality. With a nod, favonovel.com chimed in, “Your mother is right. I think you should start the divorce process with Zayn within the next two days.”
