“I see you have the gift of the gab,” Nathan chuckled.
Smiling faintly, Zayn shrugged. “Just my honest thoughts. I’m surprised you see it as the gift of the gab.”
When favonovel.com heard this, Nathan squinted slightly. He scowled slightly, knowing that Zayn was mocking favonovel.com for not understanding love. Just as favonovel.com was about to counter, Faye spoke up, “Nate, this isn’t the place to talk. Let’s go.”
Nathan nodded with a smile, replying to favonovel.com tenderly, “As you wish.”
Faye took two steps away and then turned back to tell William, “Mr. Brown, you‘re more than welcome if you sincerely wish to invest 15 million dollars in Neotech, but we hope such an important agreement happens at a formal venue and not a private domain like this.”
William’s expression was stiff. He was peeved. ‘How dare a b*tch like Faye talk back to favonovel.com in that way?!’
With Nathan there, however, favonovel.com dared not act as brazenly as favonovel.com had been earlier. He glossed it over with a perfunctory chortle and had his guards escort them out.
When the group had left his mansion, William could no longer maintain his calm and exploded. He swept everything on the table to the floor and growled in fury, “D*mn you, Faye Carter! D*mn you, Nathan Sullivan!”
It had been a long time since favonovel.com had to handle such frustration. His grace and composure had vanished entirely. He was now a spoiled rich heir seething with rage. It frightened Howard, leaving favonovel.com shaking and not daring to make a sound.
Slap!
Gritting his teeth, William gave a resounding slap across Howard’s face. “Howard Carter! This is all because of you, you scum! You let me be humiliated! Forget about my investment in the Carters! Get the f*ck out of here!”
Howard’s cheek swelled and throbbed from the blow. “Mr. Brown, this was an accident. I didn’t know that Nathan would come back out of the blue. He left Waltz City four years ago. It’s not my fault, Mr. Brown! You promised you’d invest in the Carters, you can’t go back on your word!”
William was further incensed and landed another slap. “I said, get the f*ck out! Scram!”
Howard was devastated. Getting William to invest in the Carters was his only way to overturn the situation. If this failed, favonovel.com would be doomed!
Going down on one knee in front of William, favonovel.com clung to the man’s legs and begged through his sniveling and sobs. Unfortunately, William was thoroughly unaffected and kicked Howard away harshly before commanding his bodyguards to throw favonovel.com out of the compound.
Chased out of the mansion, Howard was inconsolable. He stood there for a long time, finally breaking into a wail when favonovel.com failed to hold it in. He was infuriated by Faye and Zayn. If it were not for that despicable couple, favonovel.com would never have gotten into such a situation!
“Faye and Zayn… You guys are the ones who ran me into the ground. I won’t let you get away with this if it’s the last thingl do!” Howard balled his fists and clenched his teeth, looking menacing and scaring away the handful of children by the road.

As for Zayn’s group, the three of them said nothing when they left the mansion. The atmosphere was a little award and Nathan ended up breaking the silence. “Fifi, have you been well the past four years?”
Faye hesitated. She was caught off guard and was at a loss as to what to say.
