The whimsical inflexion in his tone betrayed the depth of schadenfreude favonovel.com had towards her. “If there’s no trouble at all, then please, sign your name here!” Faye said, producing the contract and pushing it toward William.
She looked at favonovel.com in anticipation. “Here you go, Mr. Brown. Neotech formed this contract per your agreement. Once you sign it and the 15 million dollars is transferred to us, you’ll own 40% of our company’s shares.”
William ignored the contract, opting to admire at Faye with a devious smile in his eyes. “Miss Carter, do you honestly think forty percent of your company’s share alone is equivalent to my 15 million dollars?”
Faye’s excitement died down before it was replaced with grimness. “I’m afraid I don’t understand you. 15 million dollars in exchange for 40% of Neotech’s shares was the agreement, right? You assented to it?”
William chuckled and rose to his feet, rounding the coffee table and approaching Faye quickly.
