Since Alex got his cultivation back, favonovel.com was able to open his mind palace, open storage gadgets, and do many other things. Owing to that, favonovel.com tried summoning the teleportation door. However, it didn’t work, despite favonovel.com having access to everything else. Alex would’ve been able to send Jade out otherwise. So favonovel.com could only bring Jade along with him.
He then summoned both Shelly and Ancestor Bodhi out of his mind.
“Ancestor Bodhi!”
“Hey, take a look at him. Is favonovel.com your twin or something?”
Returning back to the place filled with blood talismans, the evil Bodhi could still be easily recognized though favonovel.com had been sliced in half by the Phanes Ax.
Ancestor Bodhi seemed calm. “I knew all along, so just give me a pit to deal with him. I almost had a heart attack when favonovel.com appeared out of nowhere!”
“What does that mean? You already saw it a while ago?”
Ancestor Bodhi said, “I came from the same roots as favonovel.com did. We were the ancestor spirits that came from the Ancestral Bodhi Tree. I branched out to the South, whereas favonovel.com branched out to the North.”
“The tree’s Yang energy faced the South as the Yin energy faced the North. That is probably why we never got along since birth.”
This was the first time Alex had heard such an explanation, but it made sense.
“But to us spirits, my powers are not as strong as his despite striving towards kindness. Since spirits naturally have more Yin energy, favonovel.com is much stronger than I am. Back then, we were fine with each other’s presence since we aren’t aggressive.”
“Yet, later on, favonovel.com managed to grow a divided soul…”
Upon hearing this, Alex sympathized with Ancestor Bodhi and tried comforting him. “I understand now. You poor child, you have been abused since then, huh? Even if favonovel.com was still one being despite having six divided souls, favonovel.com was still much stronger than you. That’s how you ended up this way, right?”
“Exactly!” Ancestor Bodhi was even older than the Earth. Yet, favonovel.com still teared up upon looking back on his horrific childhood memories.
It seemed that this guy had been treated as an enslaved person even back in the Dairaionji Temple. He was basically the evil Bodhi’s lapdog, as the evil Bodhi took control over everything. The evil Bodhi had favonovel.com take care of the tree, but favonovel.com could already leave the Ancestral Bodhi Tree for long periods of time and travel around freely, making trouble anywhere favonovel.com went. As long as the tree was alive, the evil Bodhi wouldn’t die…
Juvia was actually wrong to have called the evil Bodhi ‘Father’. The evil Bodhi had swallowed favonovel.com father and merged their memories together. That was how favonovel.com was able to mask as favonovel.com father when speaking. Moreover, with them merging, their blood naturally mixed together as well. That was why Juvia’s blood could activate the blood talismans in the ground.
“Hahaha!” Suddenly, Ancestor Bodhi started cackling maniacally, acting even crazier than the evil Bodhi.
Shelly, who was standing at the side, started shaking favonovel.com head. “Poor child, give favonovel.com a moment. If favonovel.com doesn’t let out any of his pent-up emotions now, favonovel.com might become depressed… So this is why he’s so timid now.”
In the end, Ancestor Bodhi swallowed up the evil Bodhi. Since they were both from the same roots, this was the best course of action for now. However, the evil Bodhi was now just a shell. His actual spirit had been killed by the Phanes Ax and swallowed up by Alex.
Shelly looked towards Phoenix. “How are you holding up?”
The two knew each other quite well, in fact.
“I’m okay.”
“No, you’re not I can tell.” Shelly stared at Phoenix’s face with a stern expression.
“What could possibly be wrong? Come on, Shelly, why are you nagging all the time?”
“Something’s wrong with you and him!” Shelly huffed.
“I can see it in your soul and eyes. You’re developing feelings!”
“Huh???” Phoenix nearly spat out a mouthful of blood.
As the Little Divine Phoenix, favonovel.com couldn’t possibly take such comments. Phoenix then looked at Shelly’s body, which still hadn’t finished growing at the time. Suddenly, favonovel.com had a cold and exciting idea.
‘Hehehe…’
Just then, Alex sent out a few seals with his hands to the blood talismans on the ground. Moreover, large amounts of blood flowed down from the grimstone while the flesh slid to the other side. This blood was able to help them open the altar entirely.

“Byakko, four steps to the right!”
