Alex’s face turned solemn. Such a situation was rare. If the Lost Soul Syndrome in a person was a disease, then something must be wrong with the group of people suffering from that Lost Soul Syndrome.

Lena took Alex and met the lot from afar.
The Naga tribe gathered all the patients with the Lost Soul Syndrome in one place.
At a cursory glance, Alex was taken aback. The large field was almost filled with people who were sprawled, lying down. There were a total of about four to five hundred people, which was quite a number indeed.
Alex quickly said, “Judging from this situation, I’m afraid that a contagious disease has emerged. This is probably not some kind of Lost Soul Syndrome. The immediate priority is to isolate the diseased and find the pathogen.”
During the conversation, a few others from the Naga came over. They were either supporting or carrying a few tribal members in their arms.
“Great apothecary, another tribal member suffers from the Lost Soul Syndrome!”
“There are more of them this time. They have been all gathered in one place. These are sent in first, and there are dozens more at the back!”
Someone asked, “Great apothecary, can this disease be cured? My father has been lying for more than ten days without any response. He’s not going to stay unconscious, is he?”
The great apothecary of this place was an old Naga with white hair and beard.

“Yes, Lord Saint!” The great apothecary said, “The people here are basically well-known apothecaries and physicians from the major villages back then. They have been here for half a month since the twentieth Lost Soul Syndrome patient appeared.”
Alex asked, “Have you guys been infected?”
The great apothecary shook his head. “I suspected that it was a contagious disease at first, but clearly, it is not.”
“Can I take a look at the patients?”
“Of course, you can.”
Alex randomly selected a burly Naga and checked favonovel.com through the Third Eye. Consequently, favonovel.com found that this Naga man was very healthy with even breathing and strong heartbeats. He did not look like someone ill at all.

There was a method in the Ultimate Book of Medicine called the Soul Calling. Alex drew a talisman on this Naga man’s body using his blood as a medium. He wanted to call his soul out to find out what was going on. However, favonovel.com failed to call his soul out after a long while.
Lena asked, “Is it difficult?”
Alex frowned as favonovel.com said, “I really can’t find the soul, but this is not plausible. There should be a reaction, even if it is an out-of-body experience. Let me try again!”
However, just as Alex kept trying to call his soul, the Mystic Maiden of the Nine Heavens suddenly warned, “Be careful! Something is strange with his soul!”
