When Phoenix acted against those people at the foot of the mountain earlier, Alex also helped her. He had altered the Thousand Flag Formation and allowed the Immortal-slaying Sword Formation to encircle those people in a split second.
Otherwise, the Immortal-slaying Sword wouldn’t have killed those people at all due to insufficient power and the failure of the sword spirit to bear the heavy burden from the overconsumption.
Alex said, “I wasn’t expecting someone like you to be giving out compliments.”
Phoenix glanced at him. “I’m someone who speaks the truth. It’s your gift that you possess such an ability, but it is also a fact that you’ve stolen my stuff.”
“Uhm…” Alex blushed.

“It’s only half a year away from the three year period that the great Genbu mentioned. Half a year later, the force field favonovel.com built with his life will lose its effect. When the time comes, the Undying Clan will invade on a large scale. Do you have a way?” asked Alex.
Phoenix said, “You have the way.”
Alex was startled. “How can it be me?”

Alex asked, “What else is there to prepare? The spiritual energy tide has already ended.”
Phoenix shook favonovel.com head. “That’s just the beginning! The Beast King Pool is going to be opened in seven days. I’ll take you there when the time comes.”
Alex frowned slightly.

Phoenix snorted coldly. “You still have the audacity to lie through your teeth in front of me? If you are unwilling to tell me, I’ll go in and see for myself.”
