Alex’s voice boomed. Everyone near Rockefeller Manor could hear him. The people gathered outside the manor heard it especially clearly. They’d heard about the news, mustering up their courage to investigate.
No one thought they’d be the first recipients of such breaking news. Everyone who heard Alex was shocked.

The golden translucent shield shattered. Unfortunately, although the attack from Seventy-two Heavenly Immortal-slaying Formation wasn’t even complete, it continued to land upon Jaiden.

Jaiden spewed a mouthful of fresh blood and stumbled back ten steps. He only managed to regain his balance as his back hit a tall tree.
He looked at the rainbow barrier in shock.
He’d once led his subordinates and forced his way through this barrier, but its power wasn’t nearly as strong as it was at the moment. More importantly, he’d discussed the formation with the elders of his sect.
It should’ve once been the remains of a former formation. Alex then found it and repurposed it. He should’ve only been able to build a fundamental barrier. Nonetheless, their current circumstances proved that his guess was wrong.

The disciples of Returning Sword Sect rushed over, somewhat nervous to see Jaiden hurt.
Jaiden’s expression was twisted. He took a glance at the rainbow barrier. It was truly ironic… He’d tried so hard to enter and take over this place, yet now it became a trap.
“Quick, go check if you guys can still leave!” Jaiden ordered. He had a bad feeling about it all.
Soon, a few disciples ran towards the gates. Many cries of anguish followed. Having been bumped back by the formation, some had minor injuries, while others were hurt badly and lost their limbs.
All of them returned in tears.
“Master, we can’t get out. We tried the previous ways, but they don’t work anymore.”
Jaiden looked around. “Go try some other place.”
There were quite a huge group of people within the manor.
