“Alex, I’ll stay too,” Freya said.
Alex grunted. “What’s the use of you two staying? You’ll only be a burden. Principal Lewin, go, now!”
“Alex, don’t act tough. Can you really handle the situation?” Xerxes asked quietly.
Alex smiled. “Have you forgotten how I killed the Immortal Emperor while we were in the Underworld? Why would I fear a few bugs if I could kill that emperor? Don’t worry, I’m invincible. They can’t harm me, but they might hurt you guys.”
Xerxes indeed had a strong impression of Alex’s powers while they were in the Underworld, and thus, felt assured by Alex’s words. “Okay, I believe you. We’ll wait for you at the front!”

Alex jumped from the boat and landed on the ground.
Luna’s cry could be heard from above. “Honey, you have to return safely. If you don’t, I… I’ll find another man and cheat on you…”
