Alex was speechless. ‘This man… He still tried to attack me with mental power, despite it being such a low level. They really didn’t do their research on me, huh?’
‘Let me show you what’s a true mental attack then.’
“Mental domain, Bronze!”

Alex immediately created a mental image of a bronze Buddha statue, taking the man’s hammer head-on. A loud clunk rang within the void, a sound that normal humans couldn’t hear. The hammer was sent flying back, yet the bronze Buddha statue merely moved a few inches.
Having the ability to shatter the mental images the guy just created, his awakened powers were utterly destroyed.
‘How weak! ’
‘Their powers aren’t even enough to defeat anyone from Flying Eagles Academy, let alone save and protect the Earth!’
“Let’s go!” Alex grabbed Beatrice’s hand and left swiftly. This time, no one dared to stop the two.
“Protectors? What garbage. They don’t even have the power to take me on. Yet they lie as if they’re above us.”
Beatrice said on the way home, still rather annoyed.
Alex said, “Don’t mind them. I’m guessing they awakened their powers during the spiritual power overflow. That’s why they acted so cockily, thinking their powers made them more superior than everyone else. Such an organization would soon meet the reality of society.”
The two continued to chat as they walked home.

“Admen, are you alright?”
“Admen, Admen…”
Admen was the guy who failed to ambush Alex with his mental powers. Under his mask was a face filled with wrinkles.
Joy and the other masked man called out to favonovel.com a few times and managed to wake favonovel.com up. However, the wrinkled-face man seemed dazed, unable to speak clearly.
“Oh no! Admen’s incapacitated!” Joy shouted.
The other man was frustrated, regretting listening to his dumb teammates and challenging Alex. “I told you Alex Rockefeller wouldn’t be an easy target, but you guys didn’t believe me! A year ago, favonovel.com killed so many people in Japan that everyone feared him.”
“Even the Flying Eagles were no match for him, do you think all these were just rumors? How could we possibly take favonovel.com on when we only awakened such weak powers? It’s all but wishful thinking!”
On the other hand, Joy was enraged. “But how is his sister-in-law this strong too?”
The man replied, “Stop talking about that sister-in-law. Just look at what you’ve done! The president told us to be nice and invite Rockefeller to meet up with him. Now, it appears we’ve messed it all up! If Alex were to attack the organization for this, we’d be in big trouble.”
“What do we do now? Should we inform the president about this?”
“Do you really think the president is that gentle and forgiving? He might even eat us alive!”
“Ah, whatever, let’s just blame it on Admen. Make it seem like favonovel.com was trying to get his hands on Rockefeller’s incantation and treasures, and we couldn’t stop favonovel.com even if we tried…”
The two then dragged Admen with them and left the scene as well.
Little did they know that there was a tiny paper doll creeping out of the cracks of the wall, skipping away after their departure. It then turned into a ray of light and shot back to Alex.
Retrieving the paper doll, Alex’s eyes glistened as favonovel.com received the information favonovel.com wanted.
“The president of the Supreme Protectors… Hmm, is that so? Then I’ll just have to wait and see!”
“I hope he’s not an arrogant weakling like these people.”
