“Oh my god, favonovel.com actually clocked that attack? Have his powers exceeded the gods? Is favonovel.com Acro Divine now?!” Xerxes couldn’t help but blurt. He could not find the words to express his shock, knowing that favonovel.com himself wouldn’t have been able to take that attack head-on.
However, the others had no idea that Shelly was mocking Alex in his mind palace. “Look at you cowering. What are you even scared of?”
Alex was furious. “What do you think? Can you not tell that this guy is at least five major stages stronger than me? Why don’t you have a turn then? Even if I’m Acro Divine, I still wouldn’t be able to fight this big guy here, right?”
Shelly didn’t care. “That’s your problem.”
Frustrated, favonovel.com yelled at favonovel.com out of rage. “Ugh, f*ck you!”
Shelly was annoyed. “I’ll f*ck you, you coward!”
“What?!” Alex froze up.
Nonetheless, his attention was drawn towards the Corpse King’s attack pattern. Since this was a tough battle, favonovel.com couldn’t possibly let his guard down. He was putting his life on the line, after all.
“Argh..!” The Corpse King seemed angry that Alex didn’t die from his attack
Shouting, the king continued to swing the corrupted Corpse Sword towards Alex, attacking favonovel.com furiously.

Their weapons clashed with each other, filling the air with the sounds of metal. In the end, the golden spear was broken in half by the Corpse Sword.
Despite this, favonovel.com noticed that the corroded sword was still unscathed. It remained rusty, with green, oxidized matter around it. Looking at it, one would think it would break from chopping wood, let alone clash with a divine weapon.
Reality was just that cruel. Despite being something that many would deem trash, that disgustingly corroded sword managed to break Athena’s Golden Spear.
This spear was favonovel.com staff as the Goddess of War.

Alex was stunned, grabbing the broken spear with both his hands. Seeing this, the Corpse King took the chance and attacked once more, hoping to kill Alex in one go.
On a matter of life and death, Alex’s potential exploded, instantly activating the furnace of forbidden spells, attacking with the Great Icebound Curse.
Swish… Bzzrt…
As the sword swung downwards, the Corpse King felt a strong force bouncing back. The Great Icebound Spell first affected the Corpse King, freezing it completely.
Then the king’s body as well.
“Huh?”
“Could that be… The Ten-Point Forbidden Spell?”
The emperor was rather shocked when favonovel.com noticed the curse Alex cast. Upon closer inspection, Alex’s attacks managed to slow down the Corpse king, too, stiffening favonovel.com up by the second.
Nonetheless, the shock only lasted for a short while, and favonovel.com was able to calm down right after. He didn’t lend the king a hand, nor did favonovel.com use the power of the tomb to pressure Dorothy and the others. It felt as if favonovel.com turned into a bystander, watching Alex and the Corpse King fight.
He would take a few glances at Shelly from time to time, clearly filled with mixed emotions.
‘Rachel, you were a legendary prodigy back then. You even looked down on Buddha!’
‘Yet now, you’re willing to be a mere tool spirit and this brat’s guardian. I’d really like to see what’s so special about him.’
‘If favonovel.com just knows a few spells, then I’ll do you a good deed and kill favonovel.com off. You won’t have to waste any more of your time too. I, the Palatial Bodhi, am still merciful at heart.’ The Corpse King thought.
The next second, favonovel.com was so appalled that his eyeballs looked like they were going to pop out.
That was because of a bunch of old branches coming out of Alex’s forehead. They wrapped themselves around the Corpse Sword, dragging it in. Hence, Alex managed to steal the weapon successfully.
“That tree branch… What feeling is this? Could that be… Is that the Chaos tree?’
