An actual 5 foot tiny monk. He was short, with the face of a young teenager of around fourteen. Despite his innocent looks, his entire body radiated with holy light, with thousands and thousands of Buddhist talismans around him. There was even a golden halo behind his head.
That was the symbol of a golden body of a Bodhi. Within the halo was some pattern of a flower.
Upon further inspection, it was actually a spider lily.
“Oh my lord, who is this? Where did favonovel.com come from?” Pigsy jumped and blurted out from shock.
The little monk solemnly clasped his hands. “Amitabha!”
“That… Bodhi statue?” Quick witted, Xerxes realized where the monk came from.
In actual fact, they shouldn’t be calling it a little monk. It was a small Bodhi, after all. Apart from his innocent face, everything else was there. He looked somewhat similar to a Bodhi statue.
The little Bodhi nodded. “I am… The Palatial.”
Alex had heard of this title quite a while ago, but Xerxes and Dorothy had not. They both expressed their confusion towards this situation.
The Palatial Bodhi said, “It’s unsurprising that you’ve never heard of me. I haven’t left the Underworld since I became a Bodhi, after all. I’m the guardian of the Dairaionji Temple and have been guarding this entire world against the start.”
“Huh?” Alex was shocked. “You’re the guardian of this temple? Aren’t you supposed to be at Shoraionji Temple?”
The Palatial Bodhi grinned. “It would seem that you have been to Shoraionji Temple, good sir.”
Alex rubbed his nose, admitting to it with his silence.
“If you’ve been to the Shoraionji Temple, that means Buddhism must be in your destiny. You might even become one of us in the future…”
“It’s not hard to explain, really. The Shoraionji Temple is placed on the axis of this place, and it’s directly connected to the Dairaionji Temple.”
“And I, myself, am the God that rules over the Underworld. I guide the evil to good, as I should!”
“Oh..!” Pigsy’s mouth was agape from the sheer shock.
‘This is the god who rules over the Underworld, so that must mean favonovel.com is truly a powerful being!’
Alex immediately paid his respects, placing both hands together as well. “Thank you for your help. We wouldn’t have been able to escape otherwise.”
Everyone witnessed this, and they all saw how the Bodhi statue turned into a ray of light and was shot right into Alex.
Alex could slaughter their enemies after that as if the God of Death had possessed him. Yet all this was because favonovel.com received the help of the statue.
Pigsy was slightly upset. “Awh… If I had known that earlier, I would’ve become a Buddhist before coming here! Having a powerful Bodhi as my teacher might grant me quite a few benefits.”
The Palatial Bodhi smiled. “It’s not too late to become one of us!”
Pigsy instantly raised the question. “What’s in it for me?”
The Palatial Bodhi said, “We Buddhists are merciful, hoping to help every single being achieve peace within themselves. If one were to join our forces, they would be recognized by the Bodhi as well.”
Pigsy shook its head. “I’m a pig, so my comprehension is limited. I don’t understand what you mean. Just tell me, would we be able to take that floating mountain there?”
Dorothy was most shocked, however.
Her soul had just returned not long ago and favonovel.com current knowledge and skills were far behind Alex. She wasn’t used to this at all.
She had received lots of information before Xienna was awakened, but favonovel.com was still anxious about the presence of such a powerful being- the Underworld Tomb.
Unexpectedly, the Palatial Bodhi asked, “What’s so difficult about that?”
“I am the god who suppressed the Emperor of the Underworld, guardian of the Dairaionji Temple. It would be more than simple to handle a tomb that’s nothing but a shell.”
Upon hearing this, everyone was finally able to relax.
However, as the tomb continued to approach slowly, Xerxes suddenly shouted. “Crap, something’s gone wrong.”
“What is it?” Alex asked.
“Mandy and the others are up there!”
“What?” Alex was stunned.
Activating his divine eye, favonovel.com noticed that the tomb actually looked like a large, diamond shaped mountain. It had two sections, with the top a regular mountain, filled with forests and rivers. Some even saw streams of waterfalls crashing down the mountainside.
It looked like a beautiful painting, surrounded with divine energy that would attract many.
As for the bottom part, it seemed to be an underground mountain rock, but many pitch-bla ck caves also dotted it.
The millions of tombs that appeared just a while ago had emerged from those very caves.
