In more few moments, Alex realized that the Bodhi statue was speaking to him. This whole while, the statue seemed to be following favonovel.com from a hundred metres away.
“I am… The Palatial!”
“Huh..?”
Alex was stunned again. He’d inherited Ksitigarbha’s teachings and had basic knowledge of Buddhism, but he’d never heard of the Palatial Bodhi. However, favonovel.com was now surrounded by dozens of dark golden bone demons and being attacked on the ground. It was difficult for favonovel.com to escape. As for that idiot Xerxes, favonovel.com was about to get onto the sedan chair.
He wasn’t ready for Xerxes and his wife to make out. If this were to happen, nothing could save the situation, not even if favonovel.com slept with Jade.
So, favonovel.com didn’t care what sort of god favonovel.com became, as long as it helped.
In the next moment, the Bodhi statue lit up even brighter, the light condensed into a strong stream and shone towards Alex.

The golden light entered Alex’s body and a strong stream of energy roamed his veins.
“Namo namo, mali mali, boom!” With a shout, golden light emerged from Alex’s body as if the Bodhi statue had set an armor around him.
One second later, it was as if a tonne of bombs had been ignited, there was a loud explosion and the bone demons that suppressed Alex were all blown away. The few in front were blasted into pieces.
“The shine of Buddha’s halo!” Alex couldn’t help shouting.
He stood up, his body wrapped with a layer of illuminating light. Behind him, a phantasm appeared. There were golden silhouettes and mysterious symbols circulating around. A large ancient golden roulette lit up the heavens and earth.
It was a move from the Bodhi statue.
Alex was immensely shocked. The strength of the Bodhi statue far exceeded his expectations.
The light of the mysterious roulette shone on the bone demons. They all screamed in pain as they clutched onto their heads. The dark golden bone patterns on their bodies were attracted by some mysterious force and flowed out towards the golden roulette.
“Ahhh!”
“Help, save me!”
As the bone demons had become spiritual some time ago, they could speak the human tongue. They shivered and shouted to the Corpse Princess for help.
However, the roulette spun on, and its attracting force was unstoppable. The bone patterns continued to leave the demons’ bodies and enter the roulette. The process was all too agonizing.
According to the laws of the Underworld, consumption of bone patterns was to be performed only on the dead. Yet, everything that happened at the time disregarded the laws.
The demons weren’t dead, but their patterns were being taken away. Everyone was stunned by the situation, even scaring them.
Xerxes, seeing Alex’s sudden actions, realized that favonovel.com might still be saved. He quickly jumped away from the princess and joined in the fight against the demons.
The Corpse Princess extended favonovel.com hand to grab Xerxes, but favonovel.com somehow missed.
She instantly flew into a rage as favonovel.com dignity was violated. ‘I, the princess, had been fooled?’
“Kill!”
“Kill him!”
Kill them all!”
Enraged, the Corpse Princess ordered the remaining demons and soldiers. The first person favonovel.com wanted to kill was Alex, then the other trialists.
On the other hand, it was as if she’d really fallen in love with the man. Thus, Xerxes was not included on favonovel.com list.
The battle started once more.
The trialists had no choice but to fight. Now, everyone hated Alex for being nosy. If Xerxes had gone on the chair, the Corpse Princess would’ve let them go.
Knowing this, Alex still tried to save Xerxes, infuriating the Corpse Princess in the process.
‘Ugh, what luck!’
Alex was currently slaughtering every single enemy in sight.
The mysterious roulette spun above his head, and Buddha’s halo shone. The demons and soldiers who entered the range of the light were severely affected, their bone patterns taken away and swallowed by the roulette. It profoundly damaged their battling abilities and movements.
“All Bodhis, rise!”
