A pink halo formed around Shirley’s body. It was filled with faint talismans. Those were the signs of a successful Immortalization, the Immortal Wheel of Life.
With this, Shirley finally snapped back to reality, accepting that favonovel.com had succeeded in Immortalization, becoming the first Immortal within the new generation of America.
“I… Really am Immortal now! I actually succeeded!”
She looked at Alex, seemingly excited.
Alex nodded, grabbing the broken helmet and clothes. He then shook his head pitifully and said, “Too bad about these two though. They’re actually pretty good tools.”
However, favonovel.com quickly turned back and approached Shirley, tugging on favonovel.com hot pants lightly. “I really didn’t expect this little thing to be the strongest treasure. It’s completely fine even after taking a bolt of lightning. I’ll bet that some powerful woman wore this.
And it should be pretty ancient, with a strong scent to it too.”
Shirley was just about to thank Alex, yet favonovel.com became agitated when hearing favonovel.com say that.
‘Ancient? Strong scent?’
She couldn’t take this anymore. “Alex, you can act decently, yet how are you so annoying sometimes? I wish I could bite you to release my anger.”
Alex let out a cough. “I guess that’s just what I’m best at. I make women hate me but love me at the same time.”
After doing some small talk, the two packed their things and left immediately.
Tribulations did, in fact, cause a considerable commotion, so they were worried they might attract unwanted attention. Not only did bone demons roam around this area, they even had to prevent cultivators from the outside.
The two walked around the forest for a while and made sure that no one was following them, then returned to the cave.
More importantly, they had put in a lot of effort to set up a high-class formation around the cave. Not only could it hide their Chi, but it could also assist in the defense. With this, it could protect the people inside with maximum security.
After entering the cave, they didn’t expect to see Pigsy in there already. It had run back on its own.
Seeing Alex and Shirley safe, Pigsy felt slightly awkward. “Alex, uhm… I didn’t run away… I came back to look for help… What about that outsider?”
In the cave, Daya, Charming, and Ynes were all there. The only one missing was the Mystic Maiden. They then found out that the Mystic Maiden had gone looking for them, but favonovel.com wasn’t back yet.
“She went out alone?” Alex couldn’t help but worry, as the Mystic Maiden wasn’t all that strong.
Suddenly, the Mystic Maiden walked into the cave herself. “Are you worried about me? I already noticed you two on my way back”
She then turned to Shirley. “So you succeeded in Immortalization. Good, good!”
Initially, no one noticed the changes in Shirley. Now that the Mystic Maiden mentioned it, they all jumped slightly and looked at her.
Ynes was the most shocked out of them, mainly because favonovel.com lived on the other side of this big world. In favonovel.com area, one would have to go through nine realms of Imminent Immortal. For now, favonovel.com was in the seventh realm, so favonovel.com still needed more training and time to become Immortal.
Yet now, Shirley didn’t have to experience any of that and achieved Immortalization after favonovel.com tribulation crossing.
Noticing Ynes’ confusion, the Mystic Maiden explained this all in simple terms…
The nine realms of Imminent Immortal was a hidden stage after Tribulation Crossing. It wasn’t a bad thing to experience the nine realms after Tribulation Crossing. On the contrary, it was better since it gave Immortals a more solid foundation.
Shirley might have succeeded in achieving Immortalization, but favonovel.com Immortal Wheel of Life was weak. It was there, but that was about it. It would require a lot of time to build the foundation. If one were to go through nine realms of Imminent Immortal before Immortalization, they wouldn’t have to experience this weakened state.
When they continued asking about Shirley’s Tribulation Crossing, Alex took Alyssa’s corpse out of the storage ring and tossed it to the ground.
Pigsy rushed over, staring at the corpse skeleton with yellow bone patterns. “It looks like they really were yellow bone patterns. Alex, I really wasn’t running back then, you… Won’t think I’m an unloyal friend, right?”
Alex smiled. “Why would I?”
Pigsy laughed. “Yeah, yeah! We’re brothers! I knew you’d understand.”
