As the Mystic Maiden had mentioned before, this demon had extraordinary powers. The Peacock Tribe had many types of mystic arts as well. The fact that favonovel.com could catch up quickly was most likely because favonovel.com did something to Alex.
For example, favonovel.com could’ve made a marking on his soul. Yet, it was quite a difficult task to remove such markings. Even the Mystic Maiden wouldn’t be able to remove it within a short amount of time.
Moreover, removing it would injure Alex, causing favonovel.com to turn weak. So, without enough time, they decided not to use this method. Else they’d be goners if they caught up with them midway.
“Where are you running off to, you little prick?!” Dolores’ voice was as loud as thunder, showing favonovel.com true form as a colorful peacock She flew past Alex and turned back into favonovel.com human form in mid-air, landing right in front of Alex.
Following behind favonovel.com were three other peacocks, landing in three different directions, surrounding favonovel.com and Pigsy.
“Oi, kiddo. What’s this? Are these birdies here to give you trouble?” Pigsy asked.
It then took a glance at Dolores, who looked malicious. Sensing that this person could pose grave danger, Pigsy ducked slightly from fear.
One of the peacocks was a man in his thirties, looking down upon Pigsy. “How dare you speak to us elegant peacocks when you’re just a dirty little pig demon? Do you have a death wish? I’ll be sure to steam and roast you for dinner, then eat your organs as supper.”
Another was drooling, watching Pigsy intently. “Now that you say that, Third Brother, this pig is oddly fragrant, and it’s making me hungry. I think this pig had high-quality meat for sure. We’ll deal with it together. I’d like to have some pork kidney.”
“Alright, you can have both of its kidneys.”
Pigsy felt as if his kidneys were sore upon hearing this. Enraged, it yelled. “You f*cking birds, are you all blind? How could you not know who I am, huh? Just you wait, I’ll rip all your feathers and intestines out, then make you into a barbeque skewer…”
Pigsy seemed well-versed in cursing. It was able to think of different types of insults in an instant.
The Peacock Tribe had always been prideful. Hence, they figured that only lowly peasants would curse. They were at their limit when mocking Pigsy just a while ago, but Pigsy’s words took them aback. It was just way too insulting. None of them have ever experienced this at all.
“Argh! I’ll just kill you off first!” one of the peacocks yelled and lunged at the pig demon.
Suddenly, Dolores reached out and stopped him. “Don’t!”
The man said, “Saint Orlando, I won’t do anything to Rockefeller. I’m only going to kill off this insolent pig!”
Dolores replied, “If I’m not mistaken, this pig is not just any ordinary pig. It’s a Treasure-hunting Pig! Haha, it looks like our trip here was worthwhile after all. Back then, the three guardians couldn’t even find one despite searching for hundreds of years. Yet we managed to catch one here! Ah, what luck! That means my son’s luck even affected us. Good things just keep coming one after another!”
“A treasure-hunting pig?” The other three peacocks looked at Pigsy with sheer delight, filled with greediness.
However, they were once again insulted by Pigsy, even more so than before.
