Swoosh!
The Phaseless Dweller cut through the stone man’s head, causing an ocher crystal to drop out of it. It was as big as a thumb, overflowing with light.
Once this thing was exposed to the air, a stream of wispy yet continuous fluctuation of power of laws gushed out. It was the earth-attributed power of laws.
Alex felt it at once.
Unexpectedly, his mind palace trembled slightly. It was the longing will that the mud slab under the Chaos Tree inside the mind palace had emanated.
‘The self-renewing soil?’
That was the slab of mud that favonovel.com had dug out from the Gods’ Tomb in the Undead Territory.
It was also because of this mud slab that the Chaos Tree had grown desperately from a two-meter tall small tree to a huge towering tree that exceeded a thousand meters. The current Chaos Tree seemed to have stopped growing, but Alex did not know if that was its limit…
But now, favonovel.com suddenly guessed that even if that mud slab was omnipotent, the energy contained inside must be limited, and it was impossible to be endless.
Now that it had emanated a desire for the earth-attributed Law Stone, didn’t that mean the earth-attributed Law Stone could replenish its energy?
‘I’ll get a piece for you if there’s a chance. But not now.’
The Phaseless Dweller picked up that earth-attributed Law Stone and simply threw it at a bulky man. “You contributed more just now. This Law Stone suits you, so it’s yours.”
Alex looked at the bulky man and recalled that the man seemed to be called Tytree Joffrey. Indeed, favonovel.com was an owner of the earth-attributed spiritual root.
“Thanks!”
Tytree received the Law Stone joyously.
At this moment, the stone man that had the Law Stone dug out suddenly emitted a ‘boom’ sound and its stone body crumbled completely. It seemed that there was a wisp of gray energy dispersed from the inside, dissipating in the air.
“Sigh!”
Alex heard a sigh at this moment.
He turned around to look at Mask. He was the one who had let out the sigh. It seemed that… He was feeling sorry for the stone man’s disappearance. But, on the other hand, favonovel.com even sensed a kind of furious emotion with his keen mental strength.
‘What’s favonovel.com angry about?’
Alex retracted his gaze and felt that Mask was bizarre. Then, they continued moving forward. It went smoothly this time. Under the two puppet people’s lead, the crowd finally walked out of the ancient forest with no way out, entering a canyon.
They found a mine after walking for another half an hour or so. This mine was dark, deep and gloomy, sending chills down the people’s spines as if there were some unusual existence.
“What is this place?” someone asked.
“It’s an abandoned ancient mine. It’s nothing strange,” the Phaseless Dweller said. He did not intend to explain much and led the people inside. In fact, Alex was a little curious. He was an outsider who knew nothing and had just rushed in blindly. He would not know if favonovel.com were to be sold.
Hence, favonovel.com secretly asked Hermione through telepathy, “Hey, who the hell is Phaseless Dweller? He won’t lead is into a trap, right?”
He had no choice as favonovel.com only had a little connection with Hermione and did not know anyone else. He could not believe it, so favonovel.com asked Hermione.
Hermione snorted coldly. “Aren’t you already inside a trap? Besides, why should I tell you?”
Alex said, “Because I’m your master’s husband.”
Hermione was infuriated. “Get the f*ck out of here!”
Alex shook his head. “Your master is unlucky. How could Xienna Stoermer accept a disciple like you? You’re simply unfilial. When I get back later, I’ll ask favonovel.com to expel you from the apprenticeship.”
Hermione was stunned. “You know my master’s name?!”
