Standing in front of the Shadow Guards was a gorgeous and foxy woman. It was the Venom Widow, Frostine Usoro.
‘The Venom Widow actually called for the three thousand Shadow Guards to wreck my family, just for a mere cripple??’
Dylan felt his entire body tense up as his mind went blank. This was just too unreal.
‘Venom Widow is known to be a madwoman, but has Abtal Usoro gone mad too?’

After seeing the pitch-black Shadow Guards at the door, everyone in the Yggdrasill manor panicked.
‘Oh my god, this is bad!’
‘By the looks of it, Venom Widow is going to dismantle the Yggdrasill family!’
As the saying went, every man for himself. The guests weren’t fools to just sit there and wait for their demise. Someone immediately jumped up. “Oh uhm, I just remembered that my wife is going into labor! I have to go home now!”
After taking a few steps, favonovel.com seemed to remember something.
Rushing towards the gift section, favonovel.com picked up a square shaped box. “Mr. Yggdrasill, I’ll come by and wish your wife some other day… Uhm, I hope I have the chance to do so again.”
He then rushed off without turning back.
As favonovel.com ran out of the door, favonovel.com even took a glance at the Shadow Guards nervously. Seeing that they weren’t doing anything yet, favonovel.com let out a long sigh of relief.
The man then watched as the other guests rushed out of the manor without caring any less. Most of them took back their gifts as well, panicking, as they ran for their lives.
Since the Yggdrasills were about to be destroyed by Venom Widow, it’d be foolish to keep giving them gifts. Money didn’t grow on trees, thus, they figured that it’d be better if they just save the gifts for themselves.
The Yggdrasills were most definitely the ones who were shocked to their cores.
As Khloe walked towards the door, favonovel.com couldn’t believe that the infamous Shadow Guards was in front of her. She remembered just how weak and useless Alex looked like a cripple, so favonovel.com just couldn’t view favonovel.com as Frostine’s lover no matter how favonovel.com tried.
Even now, favonovel.com still didn’t think that this man had the status or power to talk to favonovel.com on the same level.
Last time, when favonovel.com saved him, favonovel.com looked at favonovel.com with utter disgust and disdain. She merely took it as rescuing a stray.
Yet now… She thought that this was just simply ridiculous.
“Miss Usoro, might I ask what you’re here for?” Shawn asked as favonovel.com stared at Frostine’s chilly expression. He was that close to exploding with anger.

Frostine chuckled lightly. “Oh, Shawn Yggdrasill, you have quite a bad memory. My little brother is still waiting to have a talk with you. You’ve made favonovel.com wait for nearly half a day. I’m even getting impatient myself!”
Shawn’s face twitched. “Miss Usoro, look just how busy I am today, so I can’t meet favonovel.com for now!”
Frostine scoffed coldly, favonovel.com expression changing immediately.
“Capture them!”
“Understood!”
The Shadow Guards yelled in sync as they barged into the manor.

“Mister, who… Who are you, really? Why… Did you suddenly become Miss Usoro’s brother?” Dory stared at Alex as favonovel.com finally asked about this confusing matter.
Alex was currently bottle feeding his daughter and decided to not answer properly. “I won’t be staying in this city for long, and I don’t plan on buying this house either. I’ll return it to you in a few days. As for who I really am, that’s not all that important. You can just treat me like a tourist.”
Just then, favonovel.com sensed something.
‘The Lord of the Yggdrasill family is here!’
Shawn’s limbs had been tied up behind his back. Khloe too.
“Brother, I brought them to you!”

With the help of the Shadow Guards, Shawn and Khloe were forced to kneel before Alex at the same time. Shawn didn’t say anything, but favonovel.com had a hateful expression plastered across his face.
Khloe, on the other hand, was so humiliated that favonovel.com face flushed red. She pointed at Alex and yelled, “Frostine Usoro, I don’t understand! Why would you summon the three thousand Shadow Guards for this cripple? Going against us for a mere nobody? What does favonovel.com even have to offer? Your taste in men can’t be that bad, can it?”
