A few dozen more floors were above. Presently, with the loud booming, the floors above began to sink deeply. Things fell apart. The walls on the western side came crashing down. The entire building started shaking violently. After a moment, it slowly tilted to one side.
“Ahh! The building is going to collapse!” someone yelled. The person’s voice was filled with terror.
“Hurry up, let’s get out of here!”
Many people in the area were experts, and jumping out from the thirty-sixth floor wouldn‘t be a problem. The Flying Eagles people, however, had nearly transferred all their powers to Alex Rockefeller. Now, they were completely powerless. As their bodies lay limp on the ground, they had no way of escaping.
Meanwhile, the destructive power at the center of the battle scene was even more devastating.
Alex and Colton had both disappeared.
They fought their way downstairs, breaking through countless floors on their way down.
Colton’s body was covered in blood, and half of his shoulder had collapsed. Ksitigarbha’s Ten Wheels Earth Incantation had completely counteracted his Blood Cult powers. Alex looked at Colton, who now looked completely different. “I didn’t expect you to be someone from the Blood Cult,” Alex said.
Colton looked up at Alex. “I didn’t think you’d actually be able to beat me either. What sort of techniques are you using? Even Buddhist techniques aren’t as powerful as yours,” Colton croaked.
