“Hubert Fischer?”
Hubert said, “Mhm, that’s right. I am the Hubert Fischer. I think you’re pretty powerful, so follow me!”
“Follow you?” Alex froze. “Where to?”
“We’re going to The Flames clubroom, of course.”
“For what, though? ” Alex was even more confused.
Hubert replied, “You still don’ t understand? Newbies really are newbies, huh? What I mean is, you’ve been chosen by our club, and I’m here to recruit you. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so just come along with me. After we get through with the welcoming ceremony, you’ll be part of the club from now on.”
Alex had heard of clubs in Flying Eagles Academy. However, these clubs were not extracurricular clubs like in regular universities.
These clubs had been formed to do missions and enter secret realms together, helping out one another throughout the process, and become stronger as a whole.
It was equivalent to guilds in some games.
Flying eagles Academy had over a hundred clubs like this.
Alex, however, was not interested in any of them. He shook his head. “I don’t want to join any clubs.”
Hubert was shocked. “Did you not hear me? I said that I’m the vice president of The Flames. I came here personally just to recruit you, yet you reject our offer? Do you know what you’re doing?”
“I know.”
Hubert shook his head. “No, you don’t! You don’t even know what you’re turning down. Listen up, I’ll give you a more detailed introduction. There are 173 guilds and clubs in this academy, and The Flames is ranked third! All of our members are the best of the best, we filter out the weak and choose only the strong. Do you even know how many people long to be in our club, yet fail to meet our requirements? You should be honored that we want to recruit you, and you should have accepted our offer without hesitation! In fact, you should’ve been extremely grateful that I personally came here to fetch you. Yet, here you are, absolutely oblivious to this chance you’re given?”
Alex frowned and said coldly, “Are you done talking? If you are, then step aside. I’m not interested in your club.”
Hubert’s expression darkened. “Oh, you punk! You asked for it!”
Smack!
Without a word, Alex slapped the man across his face.
Hubert didn’t expect Alex to be so bold as to slap favonovel.com out of nowhere, hence favonovel.com didn’t prepare to defend at all. The slap caused one of his cheeks to swell up.
“You… How dare you attack me?” Hubert looked at favonovel.com in disbelief.
“Do you expect me to treat you to breakfast or something? I’ll count to three. If you still refuse to leave, you won’t be able to do so after this!”
“F*ck!” Hubert screamed in rage, immediately lunging towards Alex, preparing for an attack.
Smack!
Another slap landed on his face again.
This time, Hubert was slapped so hard that favonovel.com spun in place and fell to the ground as if something out of a cartoon comedy.
There were currently hundreds of students gathered at the gate. Seeing this, all of them froze up. Hubert Fischer, the vice president of The Flames, a genius that ranked nine in the battle force, wasn’t even able to defend himself. He was slapped away as if favonovel.com was just an average person.
