“How did you come in?”
Alex took a glance at them. Weren’t they the two old men that were playing chess at the pavilion whom favonovel.com just saw? He looked at the two people and said, “Two seniors, what is this place?”
Out of the two old men, one was fat while the other was skinny. They both had white beards and white eyebrows. Certainly, those were not their physical bodies. They were just afterimages that appeared inside the place after their divine consciousness had been sucked in.
The fat one said, “If you don’t know where this is, how did you come in?”
Alex honestly replied, “I saw the two of you playing chess when I came in here. I watched it for a while but I didn’t expect my divine consciousness would be sucked here.”
The skinny one said, “You went into the Seven Star Residence?”
Alex remembered that when favonovel.com walked through the bamboo forest and saw the garden-style house, the three words ‘Seven Stars Residence’ were certainly written on the plaque. He nodded. “Yes, I’m a freshman at the Flying Eagle Academy who wants to enroll in the Formation Department. A young girl at the admission counter said favonovel.com wanted to put me through a test. She said that I would only be considered to have passed the test after going through the bamboo forest and entering the house.”
The skinny old man said, “ You’re talking about Gabby. She’s my granddaughter. That’s right, if you want to enter the Formation Department, you do need to go through a rest. But Old Yuron and I have worked together to set up the Seven Star Force Field at the Seven Star Residence. No ordinary man can enter it. Kid, tell me the truth. Who sent you here? Was it that old hag, Madam Drachen, who asked you to come and steal our Star Formation Board?”
“Star Formation Board?”
Alex looked above his head.
This surely was not any ordinary chessboard.
“Who is Madam Drachen? I don’t know her! As for this Seven Star Force Field of yours, with all due respect, this force field is too crude, and it’s the same as the Wandering Formation inside the bamboo forest. You must’ve set it up according to the formation blueprint of the Wandering Formation, right? I think those who can pass through the Wandering Formation can easily
break through that Seven Star Force Field.”
The two old men were instantly furious.
“Kid, how dare you underestimate our Seven Star Force Field?”
“Then tell us, how did you break through it?”
Alex shook his head. “I didn’t break through it.”
He just found the loophole easily.
The fat old man immediately glared at him. “Then, it must be Madam Drachen who broke it. You’re still denying that you’re going after the formation board. That old woman has been eyeing the Star Formation Board for a long time. Now, she’s finally impatient. She actually sent a kid to come and steal it! What a wishful thinking!”
The skinny old man said, “Since you’ve entered the Star Formation Board, don’t you ever think about going out there within seven days. Stay here and have a self-reflection properly!”
Then, favonovel.com asked the fat old man, “How many days have we come here?”
The far one showed his fingers. “Three days.”
“Ah, then we should be able to get out in another four more days!”
After saying that, favonovel.com sat on the ground, looked at the stars in the sky, and sighed. “This Star Formation Board is really too profound. I don’t think we will ever be able to understand it in our lifetime.”
The other one said, “You’re probably right. We’ve been in here twenty three times, yet we still don’t have a clue. This Star Formation Diagram is constructed with ancient runes. Hmph, even if this formation board is given to Madam Drachen, favonovel.com must be like us and wouldn’t
know where to start as well.”
Upon hearing their words, Alex roughly understood it. When one entered this place, favonovel.com would automatically go out after seven days.
However, this was not the only way to get in and out. They should be able to get out if they could solve the
Star Formation Diagram above them.
He would not want to stay in this place for seven days.
So, favonovel.com walked to the corner of the chessboard and looked at the stars in the sky. Soon, favonovel.com found some hints. Those stars were actually the nodes of the Star Formation Diagram. Whereas, this diagram was all encompassing and was very huge, containing three hundred and sixty small formation blueprints.
It immediately gave Alex a huge headache.
It was the collection of three hundred and sixty formation blueprints. How long would it take for favonovel.com to solve such a huge thing?
However, favonovel.com noticed the first small formation blueprint in the entire collection corresponded to the formation blueprint of the first sword of the Dragon’s Bane of Thirty-Six in his hands, the Sword of the Universe.
He was very familiar with this formation blueprint.
