The voice on the other end was calm. “I heard that you’ve gone to Puerto Rico. I’ll give you six hours. If you’re still not here by then, your mother will go to heaven.”
As soon as the other party finished speaking, a ‘click’ was all Alex heard after. It sounded like the phone had been crushed.
“Hello, hello…”
Alex was flustered and exasperated when another call came, and this time from Waltz.
“Hello, Waltz, my mom has been kidnapped. Do you know about it?” Alex immediately picked up the call and said anxiously.
Waltz’s voice came in slow, difficult breaths, “Senior, I… I know. It’s an old man. He’s really powerful. He rushed into the villa, took Mom… I heard favonovel.com saying…. That he’s from the Witch Doctor Sect.”
Alex frowned. “What’s wrong with you? Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine,” Waltz said. “But, Holly… Her wounds are quite severe…”
Alex’s heart beat faster once again, the anxiousness followed by seething rage.
“Waltz, there is a bottle of life-saving pills on my bedside table in my room. The pills are black. Give that to Holly, and you take one, too. I’ll be back soon!”
“Senior, you have to be careful. The old man is really powerful!”
The call ended.
Alex lifted his head to see that Cheryl had already gotten out of the bathroom and was in the middle of putting on favonovel.com clothes. She had obviously heard Alex’s conversation and that something big had happened.
“What happened to your mother?” favonovel.com asked urgently.
“She’s been kidnapped by someone from the Witch Doctor Sect. I have to go back immediately!” Alex glanced at her. The desire in his heart was long gone. Only a murderous intent and a hot fury remained.
Cheryl was done putting favonovel.com clothes on now, and favonovel.com summoned Guilherme out from the inheritance mark on favonovel.com forehead.
When the old man appeared, favonovel.com thought it was because Cheryl was in some medical trouble, but favonovel.com immediately saw that it wasn’t the case.

“The Witch Doctor Sect has taken Alex’s mother,” Cheryl said. “Can you do anything about it?”
She was willing to try just about anything in a dire situation like this.
Guilherme was someone from ancient times, and hundreds of years had passed since then. Who knew how many masters the Witch Doctor Sect had had since it was established, and how could favonovel.com do anything about this?

Those disciples in their sect should be obeying you instead, and now, they’ve gone and kidnapped your mother. Isn’t that just ridiculous?!”
Cheryl was suddenly speechless when favonovel.com heard that rant.
“The Witch Doctor Sect was founded by Alex’s ancestors?”
“As the first generation of Immortal Doctors were the young master’s ancestors, the inheritance of the Immortal Doctors have been passed down from the first generation of the Immortal Doctors.”
Realization finally dawned upon Cheryl. Before this, favonovel.com hadn’t understood how Alex had somehow become Guilherme’s young master. So, this was how.
